I've used a Solo in a hotel room, never had any issues. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I know of one B&B in NorCal that caters to the MMJ crowd. Still on my to-do list.
Don't really get what the draw is using vapes in a hotel room. Probably OK, but if not seems like it's asking for one of those nasty 'incidental' charges. Before checking in I'll do a once-around the hotel, look for rooms with balconies and request those. If that doesn't work, I go out for frequent walks. Maybe I'm overly cautious?

Why not if you're traveling. Precautions notwithstanding, vapor doesn't linger like smoke does.
I remember a place called grateful bed & breakfast in puerto rico.

i just left the sheraton in seattle and took my hammer with me.i think its a great vape for travel.a log vape that runs on gas is how I see it..mind You it did nt work so well in colorado because of the altitude![:\](/i/s/hmm.gif "Hmm :\")
i think hotels maybe have to issue smoking compliance paperwork to conform with local authority regulations or maybe to get insurance.that was my take on it..
i stayed in mainly 4 star Westin Sheraton etc.We are at the holiday inn in LA atm and again i vaped some GSC just before heading down to the restaurant last night.
dinner beer and a few alcopops later the hallway outside my room was fresh as.when i opened my room door there was definitely background aroma going on which made us both chuckle.
there are holiday rentals popping up all over the place in both states that are mmj friendly.just google mmj friendly hotels and you will find them.most are apartments.We liked hotel facilities so kept staying there.
I usually take an hello neighbour air freshener(sploof) and exhale through that to keep smells limited.i found these scent bombs tgat were good too in filling stations extremely strong..i picked up the fresh linen one which worked well.
There is nowhere to smoke or vape in either recreational state ..and here in cali venice its a $400 ticket for sparking up on the beach..damn what are beaches for.everyone just walks about with pens or rollups and gets on with it regardless.
anywayz i am now a medical patient in california...i signed up yesterday.the best day ever.

I haven't vaped MJ in a hotel room but I have used my e cig with no lingering smell at all. At home, the smell of any vape session is gone within minutes.
If you're worried just brew a pot of that awful coffee they have in the rooms. That would drown out any smell before housekeeping came by.

Just recently a friend and I stayed at a hotel. We vaped using the Indica. I went out in the hall to get ice came back into the room and didn't smell a thing. There was no lingering smell. We then vaped some more and decided to call for room service. We had no problems. Some vaporizer smell more than others, but the smell doesn't stay for long. Open a window if you're able.

I Vape at every hotel I've been to in the last year and have never had a problem I've even had room service come and they act like nothing is wrong. A bunch of us did get kicked out of the double tree in Frisco when I was younger but we smoked massive amounts of blunts.

Very reassuring thread. Thanks. I'll be vaping in a non-smoking room at the Silver Legacy in Reno this weekend: my first hotel stay as a non-smoker. Hell, it's my first hotel stay in decades because we had cats to care for. Anyhow, am sure it'll be fine, especially with Ozium spray.

Yeah, for my business trips I usually stay in four or five star hotels e.g. Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton..( thanks to a generous expense account). Depending on floor and location many of the hotels I've stayed at have had floor to ceiling windows which you obviously can't open at all. Still no problem! When I first started, I suppose I was a little paranoid as well, but I don't even think about it anymore.
Yeah, but then you'd have to stay in a "Room of mass Combustion". Just saying....
Now that explains why when staying at the Ritz Bachelor Gulch that they always stock a large jar of gummy bears in the mini fridge
on a serious note though in CO i've read about and heard first hand how some including a family member who came out to visit last Christmas, have gotten the boot, kicked out. my family member he was even charged a "special" cleaining fee. he even tried to dispute them on his CC but had no luck there. so for him that one night vaping in his room cost an extra hundred bucks besides having to sleep on our sofa for a few. just me but if in co, wa or any other location where things have changed for the better, i would ask in advance and if an issue stay elsewhere or be creative in where and how you partake.

Wow, that sucks! I've never heard of anyone getting kicked out of hotels for vaping, but obviously it happens...you just told me so. I've found that the vapor smell diminishes completely or at least is minimal after an hour or so. Probably depends on what strain and what type of vape you're using to a certain extent..

unfortunately there are some still with their heads in the ground, a nice way to put it on the subject but not most here. there's still a lot of misinformation and ignorance on the subject. i think in time that will change for the better. feel even better since they included in the fed budget a line item preventing the federal gov. and its agencies from spending so much as a dollar to do anything against those states which have de-criminalized and regulated cannabis. that said its still illegal to use in public but then again its illegal to stand on the sidewalk with an open beer in hand. life is change it just takes longer sometimes than we'd hope. i think the big chain hotel/motels are the ones with policies more firmly stuck in the past. i failed to mention earlier my best friend and his wife went and spent their anniv. at a b&b in cripple creek this past july and in fact the couple that ran it brought up the topic first. told them if they smoked anything to please just step out onto the back porch. so there is progress...

Unless he/she had an out of state med card, Montana is the only or one of the only states that accepts medi cards from other states which is pretty cool.

I've vaped several times in hotels with never a problem and I live in WA. Maybe that was one stinky vaporizer. Also you need to keep your cannabis in something that is smell proof. That could be what gave you away? I like to use a CVault.
