Then you'd be ready to connect to about anything. The SSV is one I used to connect to tubes before I got the Cloud - worked swimmingly

Are you meaning a vape that will fit directly into a 18mm downstem, so there is basically no tubing at all?
Like a Vriptech Heat Wand or LSV?

- attachable to 18.8 or 14.4 female glass
- no tubing if possible
- variable temp

Peterchen, if i were you i would get a log vape (many examples here: HI, WW, UD, CRZ, Pod) with a variable voltage power supply. It has no tubing, variable temp and attachable to 14.4mm easily.
I believe there are some being sold in the Classifieds, start there.

I totally agree with vorrange. Log vapes are quite versatile. And with a variable voltage power supply, log vapes can accommodate many tastes.

Hi, in principle those log vapes look really cool, but I think they're hard to get in the EU and it seems most do not have variable power supply to control temperature, right?
Right now, I'm close to buying a LSV. Are you guys aware of any problems with this vape? I only heard of the cables outside wearing out with time, but I think I can fix that problem. My main concern would be problematic stuff in the air path, but that seemed fine according to my investigation so far.

+1 for the Herborizer. Its available in both 14.4 and 18.8. Full glass, temp control. They offer a kit with only the heater, bowl and temp control (no glass). The specific model is the XL System 18.8 - http://www.herborizer.com/en/shop.h...ypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=19&category_id=1

Compared to the LSV it is supposed to have a longer heat up time and the price (for the XL) is about the same in the shops I would buy from. Also I dont think it is actually all-glass, but the plastic cable stuff is in the airpath; not that this is necessarily a concern, but since you said "full glass". Also, I'm not sure whether the LSV actually has an all glass airpath
Good points! If the LSV is anything like Da Buddha (which I own), the airpath is 100% glass apart from the exposed ceramic heating element, and of course the steel screen.
I actually wish I had a LSV instead of Da Buddha, as its much better suited for connecting to a bong.

Peterchen, there is an EU log manufacturer now. He is from the UK, check the wychwood vaporizer thread. I have one and i am very pleased.
IMO, you won't go wrong with the LSV either. From what i gather (i only have a Buddha, not a LSV), the LSV is not so easy to conserve as it is in a log vape, and the flavour is about the same (anyone knows which one would win? i think it would be a very close call. ) and also i hear the LSV gets unconfortably hot to handle.
Apart from that, it seems that the LSV would win in the longer life of materials.

I second the recommendation of the Wychwood log.
For about $20-30 you can get a VVPS from ebay and the cables you'd need to make it work (I got 2 VVPSs shipped from china for $25
)I am super happy with my WychWood, it's jumped right up there with the LSV as my daily driver.
I've never noticed a massive difference in the flavor my vapes give me, so I'd say that the LSV an WW are about on par flavor wise (TBH, the Gn0me is my only vape with a noticeable flavor improvement IME).
The LSV is basically the same as the DBV and SSV, being an all glass air/vapor path with the exception of the SS screen, and the ceramic heating element.
The LSV allows more airflow, there's not really any restriction to the draw.
The WW is a little restricted compared to the LSV, but nothing that is a drawback IMO.
I'd say go with the LSV - but seriously consider the WW if you'd prefer to vape smaller loads at a time.

I love them both, I can't see you being dissapointed with either of them.
