I mentioned this to Gary on Skype the other day, I think why not go whole hog and do a triple option nail, which fits 18mm male and 14 m and f. My Quartz Castle does this, just a matter of having a few flared rims at different heights on the nail's stem. I use an 18mm male DI mini rig myself 
Also I'm with Caligula - however, I already have a hammer/hammer top, and will be buying a core soon, so I will already be part of the way there from the sound of it lol.

It does not do herbs as of yet, but doubt we will work with this design for herbs. What this will do is give us a platform for the herbs later on.
Please understand that the Enail and the Desk top we are planing on doing will share most of the electronics and parts and this is why its crucial to get the Enail right so it has a long life in your stable and will have future upgrades to it that will make things much much easier for everyone
As for the price this is going to be cheaper then the unit mentioned above.

@THC SCIENTIFIC Just as I was expecting bro, you are definitely onto something by making this a modular setup, makes this a much more accessible upgrade for people who already have a bunch of your products like me

This being a modular set up follows our principal that our previous customers should be able to enjoy what our future customers will without spending for newer units.

Ah gotcha, I just got confused when you brought the herb aspect in the mix.
And yeah I figured that it would be cheaper, I just figured it would be closer to that area then the $150 mark mentioned by someone else
its funny, this philosophy seems like a no brainer to keeping a customer happy yet this is the same reason other people get turned off as well. Where other companies come out with a 2.0 version that requires you to but a whole new unit, you come out with a 2.0 that requires a minimal fee to get new upgraded parts and people take that as you screwing them over
Well im sure we all heard of the saying "You can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink"
Well thats the case here. What people dont understand is we incorporate our advances in our repair departments as well. So all our units get upgraded sooner or later.
2008 and still going, slowly but surely people are realizing it.

14mm seems to be pretty standard, and since you could do a very simple adapter for 18mm, that would work. Some people choose to add insulators or extra adapters with e-nails to keep the heat out of the piece, particularly on spendier glass. Various adapters are necessary with a nail of any type as there's male and female 14 and 18.
I personally have only seen the 9mm joint on stuff like pendant rigs and really small stuff. I sure haven't spotted any micro pieces that I would feel comfortable trying to hang an e-nail off of and think that 9/10mm wouldn't be a target market for this device. But I could be wrong.
As far as pricing - ?
None of us besides G know what's going into the unit or even how it will look, function, compared to what is currently on the market.
The VB2 at $750, well that is a full desktop concentrate vape. If you look at the retail price of a D-nail it's only about $100 less at $600-650. Granted you can build your own box but the parts will still run you around 400 bucks, I think.
Well one person on here has seen it as well. Dont know if he/she is willing to comment on it but i pref he/she does not until they have the unit to test and us introduce it to the world.
But as far as adapters for a 14, well see might do a 14mm version as well.
As for parts It is a super simple design but the quality of parts is unmatched. The final price will be directly impacted by the quality of work and materials used.
Oh forgot to say the air path and body is Made in America.

Up Tech Enail update.
Our engineer just gave me shipping notice. Tuesday its here. After our initial testing we will send one out to a lucky member here to test it out. He or she will report on it and let us know and you guys how its going.
Once the testing is done we will probably do one more iteration to finalize the design have it tested and do a small beta run for people who want to try it out.
How many people would want to do a beta?
Remember Beta units will cost money, all beta testers will get a final version of the product for free plus shipping after we receive their beta units back, they can keep the core and the heater element just need the nail body to get the new version.
In exchange we need people to support us while on the beta team and get the word out by doing honest reviews, videos or photos. If you can not host a video we will host it on our youtube channel thats not an issue as well as photos.

Looking to get my beta on, I'm in!Probably easier to ask, "Who doesn't want to be a beta tester?".
First come first serve well have 30 slots on the beta list and once we show it off the list will be finalized and production begins for beta users.
The terms are going to be all beta sales final and each beta user will get the final production piece once we are done collecting feedback.
Also for the people who have the Core you will have option to buy the parts you need to complete the enail setup.

I'm sure your terms will be perfectly reasonable, they always have been in the many dealings (purchases, I haven't had any problems with w9 stuff
) I've had with you guys over the last 2-3 months lol.Can't wait to see this thing, I am wondering if my mental image is pretty close to your design lol - time will tell.
