Well i dont know the answer to that question but i do think a vvps is a great addition!!
13.4 volts seems to be as high as ill be taking mine. I got combustion at 13.6.... No need to go higher, might as well take a lighter to the stem if i wanted it any hotter LOL
At 13.4 i get really dark ABV but no combustion. Perfect for me.
The one i have the fan sound does get annoying. It kicks on after a few minutes and doesnt cut off until i turn the vvps completely off.
(Is this normal for all vvps?)
So i normally use the regular wall wart and then swap over to the vvps for an hour or 2 at a time when im sitting at the computer just playing music and can drown out the fan sound. I was hoping to be able to use it like a dimmer as well but the fan sound makes me not want to use it like that. Even down to 4 volts the fan keeps running.
But it works wonderfully to get higher temps and kicks out a darker ABV.
