SirElton said:I tried out the faulty PS this morning. There's some juice going through it because it made my Dog's core hot to the touch, but not hot enough to produce vapor. Strange. Anyway, I'll get those supplies out soon. A new one with a glass stem is on the way and I'm looking forward to that. How do yall like them, those that have them?

i dont stir, i hold the stem upside down tap the bottom with one of my fingers to loosen up the material. i then hold one end with my pointer and the other end with my thumb, give it a shake and im back off to the races. hope this helps.
How is the suction of the silicon. I notice my bowls getting wider expecially if i forgot to remove the dog off it.I have two simple solutions. Put the bowl in the freezer for few days and it is shrinked again or just cut a fresh bowl.SirElton said:I tried out the faulty PS this morning. Also check if the PS is loose to the slot . My was unpluggin very often and when it is semi unplugged it delivers less heat power and the jack is going hotter than when it is plugged right.
SirElton said:The suction seems fine. I sent the power supplies off to Dave already so I'll wait and see once the new one comes. I've got a glass stem coming as well so I can compare. Making a new stem is a good idea, but I hope its not necessary.

Really enjoy the way Daves heater core lets air through quite freely and in turn the draw is a lot less restricted to the other log styles I have tried.
These vapes hit very hard for a log style vaporizer and that I put down to the drag free draw and the tight seal the silicone stems make around the heater core. The silicone is growing on me the more I use it.
A proper review to follow after some more extensive testing.

+1
This is my favorite thing about the Underdog. The airflow is aces, much better than the RockZap I have. I love how I can pull really hard to get more vapor. Its the polar opposite of the RZ where pulling hard hindrances the vapor production. Two different heat core's, two different techniques. Enough love for both

SirElton said:I FINALLY get to use my Dog with a new power supply and glass stem today! Thanks for letting me know about the PS's, Dave. Have you tried them out to see what the problem is? If they work for you, then I need to hire Dr. House to diagnose why they keep failing for me.
SirElton said:I've been trying out my new glass stem and I am blown away! This thing is awesome. I've never really had a problem with the standard silicone stems save a few minor annoyances, but decided a glass stem would be a good purchase. The glass feels great, and I absolutely love the flat mouth end. It is far more natural than the circular shaped ones which means far more comfortable. Overall, I'm pleased.
