oh so herb/errl/herb sambos are ok with these dogs? even if using them via direct draw? i was curious but though it may be a bad idea for the heater.

Yeah should be just fine, the heater doesn't care what it's heating.. :p

That said it's probably best if you keep the Dog horizontal(ish) so nothing 'runny' oozes down into the core in these kinds of scenarios. :cool:

yep that was my worry. i can leave the NonG in the piece and just bring the doggie up to it and should be good.

i tried to use the extension tonight, but it appears that instead of an extension... its an adapter. one end attaches to the end of the wart no sweat. the other end tho is a smaller connector and does not fit the k9. even still this thing impresses every time i use it. it fun to use and look at. ill post a pic or two soon.

Ok, looks like we got a wrong batch of cables... The cable you have is accidentally a 2.1mm cable, so it will fit one way but not the other. We'll get a new cable out to you, but it'll be awhile. Sorry about that!

It's odd - it always seems like the log vape manufacturers are much more chill than people working in plastics and metals. I wonder if it's because they're working with wood or if they gravitate towards wood because they're already like that.

This is a good thing, in case my tone is unclear! :)

Happy to say I have been using the UD for a few weeks now and at first I was having some issues but once I let it warm up longer and adjusted the screen position I am diggin it. :D

I think I might have combusted with it on this load but I see no ash, so maybe not (kinda new at vaping herb)?:shrug:

Also I built a small wood cabinet to store my stuff in and I have the UD plugged as a heater to try and keep my glass above 70ish at night. See how it works anyways. It's a good excuse to buy another if needed! ;)

Glad to hear you're mastering your Dog and enjoying it now. Usually if you combust you won't have any doubt about it.. there's usually a 'woosh' and an instant reduction in draw resistance, then of course the smoke that makes you go 'ack!'. :cool:

That cabinet sounds cool.. got pics?

I'm really excited to try my new UD. :nod: I am considering using my MFLB finishing grinder. Would that be too fine? I can also just use my 2 piece grinder instead. I haven't been using a grinder at all with my other vaporizers, but I know I need to with the UD.

I also got into storage and unpacked my Pinnacle Water Tubes. Has anyone used a PWT with a UD? I don't have a bong setup like I've seen other members have, but I do have an Infamous Bubbler I can use with it too. :)

@Vicki I think your 2 piece grinder will be a better option but it never hurts to experiment. :science:

The bubbler might be a better option but only because it will minimize the possibility of herb falling into the heater. If it does fall in though, just turn your pup upside down and pat the crumbs out. No harm done!

The PWT works fine, but I always feel like its weird using water right above my underdog lol. I just kind of tilt it at an angle when I pull it off, while still inhaling, to make sure the buds don't get stuck in the bowl.

Either grinder should work just fine.
