WOW!!
Good thing my order hasn't shipped yet...
Do the little pups have the same core as a standard underdog? what is different? Im about to snag one up for sure.
I think it would be nice to offer the backorder option for once the small batch runs outHey Dogs, almost ready for 4/20 but a quick question first... We're adding some special vapes to the website that have limited quantities on hand but that I can make more of as needed.
> Should we limit sales of these special vapes to the stock on hand OR should we allow backorders?
In this case backorders would be built and ship within a week.
Is a portable "dog" a possibility ?
With a battery powered VK, yes.
This ain't no April Fool's!!!And the second surprise is our MINI-DOG!! (And this is not an April Fools Day joke, we promise!)
Lol, it was so hard to keep tight lipped! I was as giddy as a school girl when my Spalted Tamarind showed up and there were two packages. One had this awesome note attached:You tricky bastard!
Congrats! It's a beaut!
Can you smell the difference in heat too? Struggles to fill my 187 with long hits like my regular UD's do with ease. However, I'm still getting very nice rips dry. Wouldn't be a problem with a smaller piece or ash catcher I'm assuming. Here's a group shot of all my 4/20 participants, excluding the Versa and Hammer. Can't wait for wait to use the mini UD on the drive to work.
In two minutes, I'm pulling some light vapor and can see the core glow. In five its ready play if you haven't been toying with it. Definitely meant for short sessions I can't see anyone wanting to run this for more than 30 minutes. Its not the ideal piece for long heavy hits or fast hits. You definitely do have the super low mass core like mentioned, there is no heat retention. As soon as it gets unplugged it cools down in minutes, in seconds you'll see the core fade.
Whats slits. I get fast hits but vapor goes out the window with that draw. Can you smell the difference in heat too? Struggles to fill my 187 with long hits like my regular UD's do with ease. @paytonpenn have you tried blocking the slits to get a fast hit?
The air ports. I was having problems with mine until I covered up the ports a tad, now it blows clouds. Also try your hammer lock on stems with a small load and let the core touch the tapered begining of the bowl.Whats slits.
So does my beta maple air core purchased last Saturday have the same 17v heater as the new econo dogs?
The email I was sent said stay below 14v for the most part? Just wondering...
I think I am coming down with VAS.. Cough.. Cough..
Happy 420 day!!!
IDK why I don't get updates to JUST this thread. Figured you were all being quiet and happy. I happen to check and theres now mini dogs AND 17 volt dogs? DAMN. I gotta save up and start being a hoarder. I don't know that I NEED a mini dog, but for that price might be nice to have as an option.
The 17v must be crazy too.
@underdog can you recommend any battery types for that voltage controler.
And what's a good voltage for mini pup?
And why is 17v pup for newbs easier to get vapor?
Would it be good for concentrate's?
Hey everyone,
Long time lurker and just got around to creating an account. I've been looking around for a quality vaporizer for sometime and finally decided that the Underdog fit the bill. I picked one today made with European Plum wood and can't wait to see it in person. Everything I've been reading about the vaporizer has really got me excited and I'm looking forward to sitting down with it when it arrives.
So my question please. I see that it takes some time for the vaporizer to heat up. Has anyone tried using something like this in conjunction with the UD? I would think it would make preheating much more convenient, but I obviously don't want to lose power or have to wait even longer for it to reach the appropriate temp. Any thoughts on this?
Many thanks and keep on being excellent to each other!
