Yes, we do a burn-in on all vapes before releasing them into the wild.

We do indeed do a burn in before signing off on UDs, usually 72 hours at full power as a stress test and to burn off any lingering wax/oil from the finishing process. Sometimes certain woods will hold on to a little excess oil (we use organic walnut oil) past the burn in period and have a slight roasted walnut smell for a couple more days after arrival. Not an issue or a concern just something to be aware of.

Estimated today but no updates since the third

Hopefully you get it today! Mine left on the 5th, priority 2day says expected delivery the 7th but it hasn't updated since it left West Sacremento. Was all excited to get VVPS, new nano, and pup. Now I'm reluctant to even go get the other two. Maybe Underdog can recoup some money from them since it's says 2day and is really going to be 4day...

Just wanted to thank you guys for all the great information. I've been researching vapes for almost a year now and after considering my use I honed in on log vapes.. It's been a tough decision between an Enano and an Underdog, but I think I'm finally going to go with the Underdog after all the positive reivews and the help from the owners. I'm deciding between the vape special maple for $169, and the vape special claro walnut for $185... besides the look is there anything different between them besides asthetics? will the maple be less durable than walnut etc?

From a functionality and durability standpoint both of the specials are the same so it boils down to aesthetics really.. hope that makes it easier to choose.

actually it does make it easier, the cheaper is the one to go then ... from a functionality and durability standpoint do the two specials differ from some of the more expensive counterparts in the 230ish range, or is that once again just wood and asthetics? (basically wanting to make sure I don't "cheap out" over 30-40 bucks if the specials are made a bit cheaper to GET the cheaper price if you know what I mean)
