just got a package with some glass, needed a new straw for my da vinci so decided I could just as well add some cheap glass to my order.
this bubbler is smaller as I expected but actually exactly what I needed:

have already been trying it out, it works great

also another pic I made yesterday or the day before that(with flash), just after applying some underbutter, to show how my dog is still kicking ass after all this time. as you can see she has darkened quite a bit, the wood is osage orange. dave had already told me when I got it that osage orange darkens over time, and I really like how it changed it's look over time.

What a beautiful pooch, I've got an Osage twig myself, but its still fairly light and orange. How long ago did you buy yours?

I remember reading that OO would darken to become more brown over time if left in sunlight, so I have been storing mine out of it to preserve the color. But yours still looks pretty fantastic, like a mood ring now lol

I really don't want mine to darken (its on the website homepage on the far right), its already gotten fairly dark, the butter also helps darken it faster. My first looks a bit two tone, one side is much more orange than the other. There is also a heatcore ring. Its been running 24/7 for over two years.

I think heat also plays a role in the darkening of the wood, if you look at my UD you can see that the lowest part is lighter, that part is also cooler because it's below the heater,

That Osage Orange looks real slick, did you have your dog hot when you applied the UB
? I've no experience with woodwork, and am meaning to buff mine up with it, figured putting it on while hot would help it absorb but idk really.

I indeed always apply while hot, the underbutter melts in that case so it's much easier to apply when hot.

oh btw, did you know my UD is a lost dog? she has a small crack since the beginning, but nowadays I have to do effort to find the crack.

Hey there Dogs.. just dropping by to let you all know we're working on pieces for a refresh that should be up at the beginning of next week. There should be a bit of everything in the refresh from budget Dogs to high-end Exotic Dogs.

hmm, that new little bubbler i really kicking my ass...
my ehle is great, and this new thingy doesn't cool as well as my ehle, but the supersmall size makes it superconvenient. when I'm gaming I often forget to vape, since taking a hit means pausing the game, wich is really easy just often not something I feel like doing. but with this new bubbler I only need 1 hand to hit it(the edge around the top of the GonG is big enough that I can hold the entire thing with my pink and ringfinger holding the gong, my middlefinger resting on the WonG-stem and my index finger(actually had to look that up wiith google translator, 'wisefinger' just didn't sound right) and thumb holding the UD.
so only when I remove the UD to clear the bubbler I need a second hand, but every other part of the process only needs 1 hand.
and this bubbler is also so small(and of such a shape) that I can easily keep looking at the screen while hitting(wich is also possible with my ehle, but less convenient)

and I now also have a bubbler from DHgate on the way, GAS is finally hitting me I think
I hope that bubbler to fill the spot in between, a bit more filtration and volume as my new little bubbler, but still smaller as my ehle.

My pup has arrived. Here's a quick pic. Unfortunately, I can't use the little guy until I move into my new house. (1.5 months) It's a beauty though and I can't wait to use it. Thanks @underdog and @underdogette !

We're still working on getting the refresh of high-end vapes added to the site, but we do have a few batches of budget-friendly vapes added now that we found while cleaning the shop (including a few more of the 2014 clearance vapes and some air core prototypes). Stock is limited!

Looking ito getting a log vape, e nano looks dope but i had a question for you guys ab the underdog...i see there are a few different models...how are the underdogs that go for 125$? Whats the different between them and the other more expensive ones. Of course id like to keep as much of my money as possible but i want quality! Enano is 200$...how does this cheaper underdog model compare?

The difference in price pretty much just has to do with the cost of the wood stock that's used I believe.

All Underdogs should perform about the same once their up to temp(mine do). Warm up time will differ one to another depending on size and wood density is all.

Cool...sorry i know bery little about log vapes, can you adjust temp on UD? I know you can with E nano.

You would need to pick up a VVPS(variable voltage power supply) to adjust the temp.

I don't have one and don't find a need for one myself. Even though my 'dogs are different sizes (one the size of a 12 0z can, One the size of a 2 oz shot glass) they both give me perfect hits with the wall wart.

You can adjust your temp with low tech options such as screen placement, extension cords, how far you insert the stem, etc. You can also purchase a VVPS (variable voltage power supply). You might be able to splice in a dimmer switch.

Most people find the "stock" temp just fine. Those that want more control than the low tech options give them, they usually add a VVPS.

I personally use one extension cord. It's nice for moving around a bit, and offsets the night time when my grid gets a little more power than it does in the day time.
