@VaporsVaporizer Leave a couple stems and a power supply in CA so dexter knows its his second home.

And how did you get two male 'dogs anyhow? Now I'm gonna sit back and cuddle a bit with my little Ashley gal.

Hi largo, we don't have enough of the VVPSs to be able to offer them with all vapes so we disabled them for the discounted Ash pieces. The VVPS really isn't needed for the majority of users anyways. If you really, really need/want one send a message to Underdogette and maybe she can do the transaction manually and add one for you.

Sorry if this has already been answered, but does anyone know if this power supply is compatible:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/AC-Adapter-...ransformer-Charger-Power-Supply-/350892964895

It has the same model number (CUI 57-12-1200D)
as the one that came with my underdog, but is more compact. Thank you in advance!

I haven't seen that one before but I'd say it's fairly safe to say it probably doesn't output the same voltage as the large brick sized one. We go through a lot of power supplies to find ones the output just the right level of power. Unfortunately you can't always buy based on what the labels say because the output will vary depending on the load to which its connected (the UD in this case).

We're currently shipping a smaller power supply than the old brick, that's similar in size to the one you show and it runs a little cooler than the brick but for most people the brick is borderline too hot so that's a good thing. We can get you the part# for the new smaller one if you want to buy them directly from the vendor. :peace:

I've really been enjoying this PodDog. I gotta run it around 12.8 for nylon stems and 13.5 for Gong which is a little higher than with my purpleheart twig I had before. flavor is absolutely amazing.. Conservation is a plus too! I really love my nong stem and even use it dry quite often. Gotta pick up the bigger one now though. I use the gong as direct draw 80% of the time.

Sometimes I reach for the mflb+pa for instant hits if I need to medicate fast, but that's only because I don't leave this dog on 24/7, but heat up time is no big deal anyways. I gotta say, mflb and UD is a great pair..

I think I'm going to grab a walnut stem to go with this pup, but maybe @Snappo has a better idea

Whoever grabbed that Myrtle Zap Dog is one lucky son of a gun! Im really lovin all the pups that have been going out!

Alright time to go relieve some serious lower back pain!:leaf:;pd;:peace:

Hello, I have a simple question about my Underdog...

I primarily use my unit in my room but sometimes have to use it in the garage. Living in Texas, it gets pretty hot in there, and I have noticed that my unit becomes extremely hot to the touch when plugged in outside. I have used the VVPS to adjust the temperature but even at 11.8V the body of the unit gets too hot to pick-up (however, the base of the unit remains cool as usual).

I know the ambient temperature is what's affecting it, but I'm wondering if it is damaging my unit?

Oh, and thanks for such an awesome vaporizer. I will definitely be buying a custom exotic in the future!

Good/tough question - the voltage, the ambient temp and the wood density are all going to affect the heat felt on the Dog so it's hard to make a determination on how hot is too hot based on feel alone.

If you're not combusting then you're probably OK, if you're concerned though you could turn it off when not in use or run it at a lower voltage (I'm sure you already thought of this of course). My shop-Dog is similar because it's hot in there in the summer so I leave it off when I'm not using it.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it! :peace:

shots to dave and amanda.
ordered my ash fri. and got an email mon. morning saying my ud was at the post office waiting to be delivered so i went to go pick it up at 9:30 am since i was driving out of town at 11am and didn't want them to leave it in my rental's office since i wouldn't be back until 9pm that evening thus unable to retrieve it 'til they reopened the next morning.
got back like 2am the next morning and have been pleasantly vaped since. thx to the fc forums for informing me bout log vaporizera and underdog for the extra goodies, service, and product.
