That does it.... all this talk is makin' my Doggie whine and bay for a belly buffin' !
With the WonG and it's simple screen setting, I made a video of loading kief directly on the screen & no herb. Worked great, maybe better with a more planty grade.
This isn't even with a cranked power supply,
it's with the stock wall-wart!
I think he should find a way for our stems to not have silicone first. Though I am not against a wooden storage box molded to hold my UD, power supplies, stems, grinder, and future UD accessories.
But I understand he is just one man.

i was just wondering.. does warming up the UD w/ the aroma therapy bucket plugging it, warm it up a little faster?? some times i warm it up upside down on the table.. i haven't paid any attention to if it works noticeably faster though..

I just noticed this post. Sorry, dude.
I've never tried warming it up with the aromatherapy cup attached. I don't like keeping it on very long at a time, even... isn't there a chance, eventually, of blocking too much air than is good for the Dog?
Curious to know if it works, though.
thanks for getting back to me, haa but on saturday i found a reason not to do it anymore.. i don't have the aroma therapy thing.. but i took my first hit and left the UD upside down on the desk and forgot about it for like a half hour or more and when i went back to take the 2nd rip it combusted right away haha.. started glowing.. i wont be doing that any more(screen set ~1").. i was always wondering how my buddy combusted.. he leaves the aroma therapy tray on a lot of the time.. he probably took it off and took a dry hit??Oops I didn't see that one either. I haven't actively tried doing that with the intent of speeding up the warmup time and while I could see it making a small difference I don't think it would be by much.
Shouldn't really be any adverse affects of having the cup on for longer periods of time either as far I would imagine.

@ Buildozer - Lol good to know, thanks for the info. The stock power supply drives these Pups right near the edge of combustion, as you discovered it doesn't much more to go over the line. Upside down is not a good way to set it and forget it as it traps all the heat inside (more so than the cup), radiates it into the desk (or whatever it's on) and also since the heat rises also exposes the plug and wiring to unnecessary heat.
@ IWT - The cup will trap some heat for sure but to a relatively limited amount. You're right on also with pointing out that while it might trap more heat it can also act as a heat sink and pull heat away from the core as well. I suppose you could say it acts as a plug to convection and a radiator to conduction.
Alright back to these Dogs or I'll never get them finished and everyone will have to go without lol.
