Past weekend I watched all of Twin Peaks original run and the movie. I just finished episode 5 of The Return, I'm honestly not sure how much I like the show, but it's damn interesting and the new season is kind of hypnotic. I'm in this weird place where I can feel how grindingly slow it's paced and how cryptic the little information we're given is, and it frustrates me, but at the same time I've found myself entranced by it. It definitely feels more "David Lynch" than "Twin Peaks," but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'll have to watch and see where it ends up going, but I'm definitely on for the ride.

Rick & Morty season finale tonight! You know it's gonna be the shyt! Really really happy w/ this season. Hopefully season 4 won't take as long.

Recently finished Twin Peaks: The Return. The 2nd to last episode (#17), I bet everyone was like,"Ok. At least we're gonna get some sort of closure. Even if it's Lynchs' weird version of it". NOPE! :lmao: "What year is it" ? :rofl: I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I want more! :disgust: :lol:

@Morty: I was surprised at how much closure there was in episode 17 of Twin Peaks: The Return. Of course Lynch pulls the rug out from under us shortly afterwards, no big surprise there. I enjoyed the finale as well, I thought it was beautiful and haunting. It reminded me of Inland Empire in many ways.

I feel like I need to watch the entire series again as well as Fire Walk With Me and The Missing Pieces to get a better grip on the finale.

I also would like to see more. Not for closure, I think Twin Peaks works better with cliffhangers and puzzles. I just want to spend some more time in this world. Maybe another movie? I would love to experience Twin Peaks in the theater.

Mr. Robot is easily one of the best shows on TV IMO.. I'm surprised I haven't heard much mention of the new season so far.. I didn't even notice any commercials or ads leading up to season 3... So far, I'm loving it as much as ever! I was hooked in w/ this show from the first episode! It's a pretty high-end show for basic cable IMO.. I feel like it's been such a long wait, I almost need to rewatch the first 2 seasons, to remember it all more clearly.

Agreed. Especially surprising with Rami Malek winning an Emmy. (So humble, touching.) Nothing wrong with being a cult classic.

Anyone watching Happy on SyFy? Very bizarre. I think it's gonna grow on me.

On another note, while Rami Malek was nominated twice by the Golden Globes for best actor in Mr. Robot, I think he just may win one this year. He did a great in finale.

Ahh, but he wasn't nominated this year? Just Christian Slater. But yeah good stuff. I'll probably end up waiting to binge Happy! when its done since its only going to be eight episodes

I finally started Fargo (half way through season one) after saving it for a while, fun stuff, and I know it will only get better each season

Yeah, Fargo's great. Didn't know that Rami wasn't nominated this year. Bummer...LOVE the camera work in Robot. Really unconventional but it really works.
