I have been smoking weed now for several years, I have tried about every method available and I have stuck with vape carts for the longest time. Until the last couple of months or so, I have never really experienced debilitating congestion but holy hell one nostril has been plugged like 60-100% varying based on the day. The other one gets less plugged, although occasionally it flips sides especially if I've been sleeping one side or another. I had considered maybe a deviated septum due to how plugged and immovable it seems. It is rather scary being a little short of breath on top of being unable to pass air in and out of my nostrils enough to take a full breath.
I am a daily vaper, I take occasional breaks but it's also hard to just go cold turkey. What I am trying to figure out is if taking a short break from it will alieviate my symptoms or not. I can go pretty hard on high potency carts without issue, and have for a couple of years now. The brand hasn't really changed. I don't know if I can call it an allergy or not because I never used to have one that I could remotely detect. I know that when I use various sprays and neti pots I tend to feel burning up one or both nostrils. It's a good burn like I am reaching some inflammation, but it doesn't tend to clear me out all the way or for very long. It honestly feels dried out but I also have been drinking water like crazy to combat dehydration. Does anyone else have experiences with getting over the severe congestion and being able to vape like normal again? I really hope it's not an allergy because vaping is pretty much my only option at this point. Strange to say I had less issues when smoking it, despite me absolutely hating the burning taste from bowls/blunts/joints. I use a small pocket vape, SeshGear. I don't know if changing batteries has made a difference for anyone regarding this issue. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks!
