Hey FC,

good news for tornado lovers. I got some suggestions from discord to try Bar Keepers Friend, and it appears johns explanation of it being a oxide is correct as after a good polish my threads are back to new and I have no concerns with the airpath!!

I won't be sending mine in anymore, as I have no concerns! Thanks for all the input here.

Cool that it was a false alarm!
Now I'll know exactly what to do if this oxidation appears on the threads of my nado ✌️
Thanks for sharing.

For me, vaping dry herb has to be safe.
I can quickly abandon a vaporizer, even if I really like it, if I notice something that could harm my health.

The problem is that Vestratto don't adhere to either 8mm or 9mm. It'd be much easier if they did!

I think the point is Vestratto vapes require an adapter rather than having its own 8 or 9 mm joint built in like everything else. That said, I'd prefer 8mm as the standard since the 9mm's are the outliers. Then everything would fit the same stems making them much easier to make and choose between.

I hear ya, I only have 8mm stems and tend to invest in nicer ones like the aezhenn stem duba is mailing me with some leather. I wouldn't want to have to get a 9mm stem for some devices. that said, I heard that that 9mm stems fit 510 drip tips natively. I kind of wish dynavap would have started with 9mm stems and set that as the standard but here we are :)

Ah, you're right! That would be even simpler. But here we are--waiting on a TSWooden Tornado stem now! ; )

Ordered mine literally a few min ago. Also 2 wpa since I don't like metal wpas in my glass.
Shout out to GVB tot yhr sickest j-hook. Its become my face way to hit "butane" vapes. I love seeing my vapor

Also shout out to the canvas stem from kgwoodcraft. Also a great beautiful robot vaoe looking stem!

I have a couple GVB hooks that are really nice with warmer vapes because they cool so well. I have one of his Hydrohooks, too. It's much taller than the Funktion hy-hooks so those seem a little handier. If they function as well as the GVB, they must work as nice as they look.

The longer one for the Dani is gorgeous and cools really nicely. I can hardly imagine how a Tornado's gonna feel on a stem--I've only used it through dry rigs so far--but I figure that stem will be a good test for it. I'm totally looking forward to it--should be here by the weekend!

For me.woth stem it needs more joules on thr forge. I've found on thr j hook i get darker avb. I'm 99.9% sure it's heat being distributed i to the metal stem that is "stealing" from thr nado
