the 4a adds a good bit of bulk, 6a only slightly more but heavier I'd go w/ 2 3a small form and may a 6a for home. will dm about the forge if 420 didn't break me:bang:

I would recommend 2 3ah ones so you can have one charging / ready to go. If you get one big one you will have downtime charging, or get all 3 like me :mental:

This was my original thought but after reading about the 2.5Ah high output I went that route. The words '25% more power', 'compact' and 'runs 25% cooler' sold me.

XC POWER, COMPACT SIZE

  • Increased performance results in the same power as an M12™ REDLITHIUM™ XC3.0 battery in a 50% lighter package, perfect for tight spots and overhead work

Is it actually going to be available on 4/20 and shipping? I didn’t watch the video but am super confused about the bundle.
Really interested to see what it’s about. The hybrid heating of the electropath/flower kettle hits me unlike anything else I’ve ever experienced. So to get something like that in a portable sense would be pretty impressive.
Dude, I am right there with you. I ordered the 420 forge deal. I’m going to compare the 2.

Yep, all M12 batteries will work, M18 will not.

The carrying case that is included will only fit the forge with a stick battery though.
I realized after I purchase that I have M18 and not M12. It looks like my charger could work with those though but I’m not sure.

Dang, the M18 uses a different connector than the M12, so if your charger is multi voltage and supports both, it would have a slot/hole to fit in the M12 where your M18 wouldn't fit.

I just checked and it does sayM12/M18 on my charger. I thought it said M12 somewhere but then I looked at my battery and knew it wasn’t right. I guess it saves me the expense of a charger at least. I took a pic but I don’t know how to attach here.

I found a 4 and 6 amp locally at a department store and will have them tomorrow, waiting for my forge :) I probably should have ordered them from amazon it would have been cheaper, I just was so excited that I had to get them ASAP, LOL now I just need to wait for the Forge :) 2 AM I'm crashing. Can't wait to see the videos from the people that get the early kits. This is making me think about the sub so I'm going to go have a nice smoke with my sub in anticipation of its new young brother and crash,

Have fun everyone. Very cool that they put up more tornados that made my 420 worthwhile, as it was the only real thing on my wish list :)

Happy camper here. I have been using the Flower Kettle with the Electropath as my daily driver for so long now as it's so efficient and the effects are really outstanding, but I am very excited to hit the sub tonight, and all this new herbalzer talk had me thinking I need to whip that out tomorrow, a bit of variety is always good. Really excited for the tornado and forge and all these shiny new power tool batteries :)

I just bought a dremel, and a sawzall, I wish I knew about these batteries a week ago and I would have just bought Milwaky but now I am buying new batteries again just for the forge.

BTW the charger I got clearly supports both the M18 and M12 it was only around 30 USD here in Thailand and its genuine Milwaukee, this was the only charger they had, so I know at least some of them support both batteries

I hate supporting Amazon. Any recommendations where I can get a good deal on a battery. I went to Home Depot and they were $64. I’ll do that if I have to but figured I’d check since I have some time before I get my hands on it.

Last I heard, the Amazon Milwaukee tools are usually genuine, but do NOT come with the Milwaukee warranty. Not usually a problem with batteries, but might be for tools. I have many M12 tools and batteries and I have never had a warranty issue with them. About 20 years ago I had (6) Milwaukee 14 volt NiCads that were old and went dead, then Milwaukee had a recall and I got 6 new batteries.

Guess I didn't crash as quick as expected LOL, just a word of caution on the OEM batteries, someone in the thread earlier said that many of the OEM or non-branded batteries that you can find on third part sites like Alibaba and eBay are not genuine Milwaukee batteries and they contain inferior 18650's inside them, and this would result in it providing inferior performance. I know this fact about the 18650's mattering, because Lamart and Tinymight RBT, all highly recommend you use Molicel batteries because I believe the provide the highest continuous amperage, don't quote me on the reason. I'm super high, and ready to crash I just saw that post and have no idea if there are truly branded and unbranded Milwaukee batteries, but I would stay away from eBay or Alibaba if this is in fact true. Thats my high babble for tonight. Hope you enjoyed. Good night :)

Yes fakes and imitations (look-alike / compatible yet not from the brand) are all terrible without exception.

The real stuff is pricier for a good reason. That being said, the real stuff is over-priced when you know the price of the individual 18650 cells they contain (but some are 21700 and some are li-po pouch now, and all packs contain a BMS offering protection, plus the casing, it all adds to the final cost)

I should have figured someone had already done this, saves me from wasting my cash on that junk to test it :D Thanks for sharing, the 3 year warranty is also a factor in the price I imagine, but I have rarely heard about issues with the M12 batteries.

My favourite part of the first video is when the battery starts smoking due to no overload protection while using the grinder and fresh disk, and drained the battery to below a safe voltage

Milwaukee batts are super durable. I abuse them daily. If anyone in USA wants a m12 charger for the price of postage lmk I have an extra. It has baby puke green nail polish on it tho!

I highly recommend checking offer up or similar for Milwaukee products. There are 1,000s of NEW tools and batteries for sale here in socal

So whay exactly is the tornado and how will it make John take my money? I have seen the images but don´t really understand what to expect
The sneaky pete interview with John is the best piece of info we have and it's still not much tbh. From my understanding the "big thing" with the tornado is that it's a vape designed to be induction heated that has 2 sections which get hot, there's the main oven that looks to be similar to the anvil and there's what John is calling a "Secondary Gassifier".
John's grouping the particles that make up the vapour we inhale into 3 sizes "Basketballs, baseballs and golf balls". The "golf ball" sized particles are supposed to be able to get the deepest into your lungs to maximize cannabinoid absorption. The secondary gassifier is there to try break down the particle size to try get all the vapour particles "golf ball" sized to make the device as efficient as possible.
The only other info I can find is that it will have "standard threaded connections" for the vestratto 14mm ,18mm, Proxy & Stem accessories and a %25 larger herb chamber.

I'm probably preaching to the choir here since I'm probably the only one who just recently (yesterday) joined the Vestratto Discord, but that seems to be where @Vestratto hangs out more so than here at FC and where I'm guessing breaking news about the Tornado will be found.....eventually cross referenced here at some point of course.

I also found out I could have gotten a 10% off coupon towards my purchase :uhoh:

Middle of May can't get here soon enough.
