I would recommend 2 3ah ones so you can have one charging / ready to go. If you get one big one you will have downtime charging, or get all 3 like me
yes, mostly, the larger protrusion is up^With the bigger battery packs, would the bulk face upward, so that the forge can still lay flat?
Yes, it should lay flat with the 4.0 or 6.0 M12 battery installed. It should also be able to stand vertical for storage if you desire. With the bigger battery packs, would the bulk face upward, so that the forge can still lay flat?
Might get one 2.5 and one 5 ah
Dude, I am right there with you. I ordered the 420 forge deal. I’m going to compare the 2.Is it actually going to be available on 4/20 and shipping? I didn’t watch the video but am super confused about the bundle.
Really interested to see what it’s about. The hybrid heating of the electropath/flower kettle hits me unlike anything else I’ve ever experienced. So to get something like that in a portable sense would be pretty impressive.
I realized after I purchase that I have M18 and not M12. It looks like my charger could work with those though but I’m not sure.Yep, all M12 batteries will work, M18 will not.
The carrying case that is included will only fit the forge with a stick battery though.
Dang, the M18 uses a different connector than the M12, so if your charger is multi voltage and supports both, it would have a slot/hole to fit in the M12 where your M18 wouldn't fit.I realized after I purchase that I have M18 and not M12. I just checked and it does sayM12/M18 on my charger. I thought it said M12 somewhere but then I looked at my battery and knew it wasn’t right. I guess it saves me the expense of a charger at least. I took a pic but I don’t know how to attach here.Dang, the M18 uses a different connector than the M12, so if your charger is multi voltage and supports both, it would have a slot/hole to fit in the M12 where your M18 wouldn't fit.
Last I heard, the Amazon Milwaukee tools are usually genuine, but do NOT come with the Milwaukee warranty. Not usually a problem with batteries, but might be for tools. I have many M12 tools and batteries and I have never had a warranty issue with them. About 20 years ago I had (6) Milwaukee 14 volt NiCads that were old and went dead, then Milwaukee had a recall and I got 6 new batteries.I hate supporting Amazon. Any recommendations where I can get a good deal on a battery. I went to Home Depot and they were $64. I’ll do that if I have to but figured I’d check since I have some time before I get my hands on it.
I should have figured someone had already done this, saves me from wasting my cash on that junk to test it Thanks for sharing, the 3 year warranty is also a factor in the price I imagine, but I have rarely heard about issues with the M12 batteries.Yes fakes and imitations (look-alike / compatible yet not from the brand) are all terrible without exception.
The real stuff is pricier for a good reason. That being said, the real stuff is over-priced when you know the price of the individual 18650 cells they contain (but some are 21700 and some are li-po pouch now, and all packs contain a BMS offering protection, plus the casing, it all adds to the final cost)
Damn. That’s a good deal. It may be worth just getting that and having a backup charger.ebay? Just need to find a) OEM Milwaukee brand and b) good seller rating
I ended up going with the charger + 2.5mAh + 5.0mAh from Home Depot: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...and-Charger-Starter-Kit-48-59-2452S/324670829

Who else wants a piece of my wallet??
Looks like an simplified anvil and, at the same time, optimized for bong and inductionSo whay exactly is the tornado and how will it make John take my money? I have seen the images but don´t really understand what to expect
The sneaky pete interview with John is the best piece of info we have and it's still not much tbh. From my understanding the "big thing" with the tornado is that it's a vape designed to be induction heated that has 2 sections which get hot, there's the main oven that looks to be similar to the anvil and there's what John is calling a "Secondary Gassifier".So whay exactly is the tornado and how will it make John take my money?
