thevideo show a problem on the Titan1. the most criticals are about the plastic or electronic smell. The video give us the reason. The air path is not separated of the body. is on the Titan2 the same
I just got an authentic Hebe Titan 2 last week and the air path does not appear to go thru the USB port (main body). I tried a "suck" test using a smoke stream, and a "blow" test using vapor, and nothing goes in or out of the USB port. All the airflow is through the side vents near the oven (the top part).
Okay...here is my basic review, fwiw...
I cleaned/soaked all the various mouth attachments and did a half dozens empty burns, but the plastic smell and taste did persist until I vaped several sessions through it. Now you can suck on it cold or hot, with or without herbs, and there is nothing but that familiar sweet herby taste.
Everyone keeps mentioning it's similarities to the Pinnacle, but really it's just a small footprint Vapir NO2 with a much larger oven, where you put the herb directly into the oven. I can put 2.5 "NO2 scoops" into the oven, packed or lose, and it works just fine. The air flow, if anything, is probably too free, allowing someone to really blast themselves with hot vape (and not in a good way). But, for the ex-smokers out there, it's no problem if you treat it just like a pipe - take slower, smaller, cooler draws.
Don't know about the Titan-1, but the 2 has an auto shut-off in 10 minutes. Now, on the NO2 (which shuts off in 20), 10 wouldn't be enough, but for some reason, and despite the larger oven, the T-2 is usually done within 10 mins. It cooks quicker and bigger, so it's also harsher and hotter. Taste-wise, really no comparison to the NO2 or even the MFLB for that matter. But hey, it's just a cheap portable - and it does do the job. The only time the unit got uncomfortably hot was yesterday when I refilled it almost immediately cause there was a group of us - it got hot enough so I probably wouldn't have wanted to stick it in my pocket without giving it a 5 minute cool down, but the mouth piece (at least where you'd put your lips) seemed only slightly warm. We chose to always use the black rubber "wand" attachment - it really did seem to help, and if nothing else, got the hottest part of the device further away from your face.
My group of vapers unanimously agreed it was a perfectly fine portable unit, one they would buy and use, but certainly not the one they would chose as their main vape. We also thought it was a fine starter vape, especially for any ex-smoker types. They liked the quicker denser clouds and didn't mind the harsher hotness (which, like I noted, could be moderated with just a little practice).
We thought one of the biggest bonuses was that it used a simple micro-USB charging port, so no need to bring an extra charger or buy some odd-ball car charger - most people already have a charger available at home and car. Those portable external USB battery chargers also work. You can also vape while charging.
My biggest gripe with it is probably it's inefficiency. If I put in twice as much herb into a device, I expect twice the output. With the Titan 2, I don't seem to get that at all. Normally, the single scoop I put into the NO2 is all I need, and I can share it with one other person with decent results. So I'd expect a "2 scooper" device to handle 2 people perfectly, but it doesn't seem to. Maybe I need to mess around with the temp settings some more. I wasn't getting much vape at 370, so I've been running it at 380. Maybe I will try to be more patient at lower temps..
