A few questions for TV:

Does the Revolution adapter effectively turn the ThermoVape into a conduction vaporizer to achieve 100 hits?

For people who vape concentrates exclusively, will the Revolution adapter be available with the main body without having to purchase a standard heater core that would never be used?

In a previous post you mention that boiling is the recommended method of cleaning the unit, and that cleaning with solvents will shorten the life of the heater core. By how much? Like from 3 years down to 6 months, or something less drastic? And will that still hold true for the upcoming Revolution heater core? And if one feels they must clean with a solvent, which solvent would be least offensive? IPA, acetone, naptha, or something else?

Yes, although there is a little more to it then that, we have a little proprietary, patent pending technology at work as well. Some of the other variable that play into the Revolution having a longer run time off of the same batteries:
- very little to no ramp up time, hit the switch and go.
- lower wattage
- smaller heating core

Yes, we will offer it with at least one main body option. We do not want to make people buy stuff they don't want or need.

If you are going to use something, use EtOH or IPA. Just make sure Revolution is dry, or better yet rinse it with warm water after the alcohol bath. Cleaning with alcohol will not shorten the life of the Revolution. It is really the fire risk, that is why we do not recommend cleaning anything we make, with anything flammable. This seems obvious, but we would not be able to live with ourselves if someone did get hurt. So boiling it is the safest, and thus our recommended cleaning option.

I read you OF. One of my first grips with the Solo was that the battery wasn't meant to be changed easily by the user. The comparison with the MFLB might be spot on though; that is one of the reasons I never got one of those myself, although I still would like to try one once, just for fun.

Also, not sure if you read this, but I'm kinda curious why Vaporninja has his TV for sale after owning it so shortly. He reported loving it just a day or two ago, I'm wondering what changed that?

Nothing. That is what Vaporninja does. He gets a new device and for a couple of days it is the best. vaporizer. ever! Then he gets bored with it and sells it. Since I "met" him (hi Hempy ) he's done this with the Inhalator (original version), the Vapman, the Solo, and now the ThermoVape, and those are just the ones I can remember. Do not take his change of heart as reflecting badly on the ThermoVape.

A lab I worked in a lot of years ago used to boil stuff to clean. Got me into the habit. I worked for a lot of years with UHV (Ultra High Vacuum), where a fraction of a fingerprint will kill a system. One of the first steps was to boil the parts in water with a tiny bit of detergent, followed by a couple of distilled water rinses (last couple double distilled) and a quick alcohol rinse before the drying oven. Amazingly clean, literally at the atomic level in many cases.

IMO solid design that plans for boiling such parts.

Personally, I still have not seen enough clear videos, of quality showing some good views of the unit being used for herb.
I am very interested in a unit like this.
It would be fantastic to see more footage of users loading and using the unit to "vape a chamber"

Sorry, I'm not the 'get drawn in' type via description of function and form....... gimme the vids people, and if it works like is being said (to my eyes) I'll be right in line to get one of these multi use devices like the rest (well actually, once that concentrate attachment is in play... 'cause that's how I roll).

Just found this quick "out of the box" review of the ThermoVape.

Guy seems to be somewhat new to vaporizers but he explains the product well enough and shows how it comes out of the box.

Second hit looks like a pretty nice cloud!

I'm a Luddite at heart, have never posted a photo let alone a video and no doubt won't use this as a chance to start. You know I suspected as much? I was just outside and noticed a bright glowing light in the west, right over Menlo Park. I knew right away something big was going on. The wife says it's the sun going down, but what does she know?

And now your telling me you're making a personal Revolution for me? Makes a guy proud and humble. And kinda weak in the knees. I don't know what I ever did to deserve all this, and I'm not at all sure I want to know.

Small world about the lab work. I actually worked in several over the years, including 'the Rad Lab' in Berkeley. Good times indeed. It occurs to me it might be fun to meet you for a few tall tales over a beer or two.....AFTER the Revolution, of course.

Couldn't resist and ordered one of these from puffitup. Tracking info says it will be here tomorrow. Randy at puffitup was great to deal with. It came with a free Space Case grinder and after I explained to Randy I already had a Space Case grinder he swapped it out for a Space Case Stash Case. Great experience shopping with puffitup and I will definitely buy from them again. Can't wait to try out the TV1.

Did you get both regular and long mouthpieces like you do ordering direct from TV?

I'm pretty sure you only get the extended mouthpiece when you order direct from Thermovape. Gonna use the standard one for a while and see if the extended is needed. The stash case is twice the price of the mouthpiece or more depending where you buy it though so I still feel puffitup is offering a good bargain.

I think further back in the thread there was something about all FC early adopters getting both mouthpieces. Maybe I'm wrong. And you're right, the case costs more, plus you got free shipping, so you're ahead no matter what. Enjoy!
