Great Scott!
Awesome to see the power supply up and the coupon code.

Am I able to order the glass adapter or the all glass mouthpiece? I'm looking to bundle them all together.

My new smooth flow came in and rattles just like the one I had that didn't rattle until it was cleaned in ISO. Is this normal now to rattle like that? I sent the other one back.

Thanks

Ordering the PTFE bong adapter with the power supply now, but I'm pretty bummed out to be ordering this, knowing a glass adapter is almost ready. That being said even when the glass adapter is out its only 14mm, and I have an 18mm bubbler. I hate to spend the $ now, but this is my only real option to use the TV with a bubbler I guess.

Picking change out of chair now. I do have a question though. Planning to get the TVevo, plan to get herb cart and dart. (darts main use will be bho once I start makn it). Im looking for good power conservation, but I do like a small cloud every now and again. Would you recomend the 6 or the 3.7? I will want a power adapter eventually, but not a big deal now.

So I'm going to wait until my power adapter and glass adapter show up soonish before I decide for sure, but IF I decide I want to sell my evo top half and keep the T1 and just use that for herbs, can anyone think of a reason to keep my interface adapter around, or should I sell that with it? I don't want to sell the interface adapter and realize it would work good with my T1 and some unreleased as of now product.

What isnt in your way might as well stay. I guess every time I get rid of something im on the fence about I end up finding some reason I should have kept it so I say hold on to it a bit.... At least until u need the cash elswhere.

I feel the same too, I have a lot of vaping stuff piling up and having a hard time wanting to sell any of it off. I am thinking that some of it won't go bad just sitting, so unless things got really thin, I could get away with hanging onto it for a while, since I already have it, even if I am not using them every day. But that's just me...

I understand that but I honestly haven't gotten results I like out of the evo at any point. I don't see any advantages (for my usage) over the t1 I already have. I'm definitely going to give it a shot with the power supply since then nothing is wasted but time and herb trying to get it down, but I feel like the evo was never designed to work similar to the T1. Now that I've really got the T1 down it feels like having a da buddha in my pocket, and the evo feels more like the MFLB in vapor production. I'll keep an open mind, but if I'm not going to use it then I'd probably sell it to take some of the burden off the price of the power supply.

I get ya :tup:I am fighting some pack rat genetics, so I tend to collect stuff, even when I am trying not to horde... It's a good thing all this vapor stuff is small, so if I had to, I could pack it all up in a pretty small container. I too have grown quite fond of the T1, and prefer to use it most of the time too. I did decide to power up my Evo LV again this a.m., after it had a long rest, and it's hitting just as it should be with sleeve on, just have that 30 sec. or so initial heat up time.

Evo LV still going strong!! :freak:

Still lovin my Evo LV. I use it every day in it's stock configuration and have no complaints. I have been using the same 2 batteries for two months and they are still going strong. The perfect tool for a quick fix!

Cool, VnB, I worked Customer Support for too long, the joke there was 'nobody ever calls you back to say it's working just fine'. It's easy to loose sight that the vast majority of these guys server their happy owners well, we tend to hear a disproportionate level of problems on this (or any other?) forum as you know.

I wish I could get more 'quality time' with mine, but I'm just spread too thin. Too many great vapes to try out, to many options to explore. It's messages like your's that remind me to move such 'old friends' up the list, thanks.

I'm not complaining about too many vape projects hanging. I brought it on myself, I'll work it out..... I for sure don't want to burden my friends with it you know.

Capitalism, gotta love it. Brings new options to the marketplace, which is a good thing as I see it.

Thanks again, and enjoy that machine! That's why they made it and why you paid the big bucks for it you know.....

Glass Adapter and Glass Adapter Mouthpiece will be available on the site tomorrow. Although they will not ship until early next week. We won;t put them up until we are confident on the production date. We will offer them as a set, or individually. 18 G is being made as well.

On another note:

Thought I would just make a couple of comments about our manufacturing process. We understand that the price of the AC Power Supply may have been higher then expected, so we thought a description of what goes into making the ThermoVape Power Supply would help.

It should be noted that the ThermoVape AC Power Supply is an extension of our modular platform. Not only in that the Power Supply works with all of our interfaces and Standard 6V Vaporizers but also in that we will continue to offer options to expand the functionality.

For example, we are working on sourcing a reliable 12V DC Adapter for use from a vehicle, as well as a Low Voltage Adapter for 3.7-4.2V vaporization. The ThermoVape Power Supply can and will be expanded upon as we find new, reliable power adapters. The best part is that all you will need to purchase in the future to expand the functionality of your ThermoVape Power Supply is an inexpensive adapter. The ThermoVape Power Supply is a buy it once, and you are good forever kind of a deal.

With that said here is what goes into each ThermoVape Power Supply:

Raw Materials. We start with the same Cold Finished T6 6061 Aluminum, US sourced from Alcoa used in our ThermoVape Vaporizers. This is not your average aluminum; our raw bars start with a 1/1000 of an inch variation across the length of the 12 foot bar. As good as it get. We also use FDA approved High Temperature US Sourced Delrin as a thermal insulator.

All components of the ThermoVape Power Supply are Made in the USA. We sourced Butt-connector, ring terminal, and plug assembly from US companies in Menlo Park, CA and Chicago. All other components we manufacture in house.

The AC wall plug/adapter is made in China. If anyone can find a US company still manufacturing these types of simple wall plug/transformers please forward us their information.

We precision machine the Aluminum Main Body, Inner Sleeve, and contact. These parts undergo an initial QCC for size and dimension. We then hand debur each part, the contact piece is also tumbled. The main body is then sent out for laser etching. After deburing, tumbling, and etching these parts are then Electrolessly Nickel Plated. The Nickel ion fills and selas the pores of the aluminum, increasing hardness, conductivity, and corrosion resistance. The Delrin Internal Insulator is also precision machined, hand debured, and cleaned.

We then begin the process of hand assembly. We have no automated processes. Every part is inspected as it goes through the assembly process, and undergoes individual testing for function and form. All connections are both soldered, and also reinforced with a redundant mechanical connection for maximum durability. All precision ‘press fits’ are achieved with small a Arbor hand press for precise, durable and adhesive/bonding agent/chemical free assembly. Once all of the connections are made, and the components assembled, we begin our final testing process. All of this happens under one roof, often the same person performing each step of the process. Nothing is outsourced. The final Power Supply Perfectly matches all ThermoVape Vaporizers in terms of quality, fit and finish.

Once the ThermoVape Power Supply Passes our extreme failure test only then is it ready to ship to a customer.

The money you spend on the ThermoVape Power Supply goes first to the cost of the highest quality materials and components available, and then to the cost of machining and finishing processes. Finally to the labor for assembly to pay the hard-working vapor loving ThermoVape employee who painstakingly assembles each Power Supply.

Sometimes after all that there may be a couple bucks left over to keep the lights on and the internet working. The old adage is true in our experience, 'You Get What You Pay For' and with the ThermoVape Power supply you get the highest quality American sourced materials and state of the art precision machining and craftsmanship. The result is a versatile, durable product that we are confident you can enjoy for years and years to come, so confident it has a lifetime warranty.

Hope that was helpful.

Cheers,

ThermoVape

Super cool. So we can order them before the 25% off ends and get them ASAP? Neat.

And about the 18 G part, I'm a 14mm guy myself, but somebody better go nail DR down real quick....if he gets to dancing again we might never catch him this time......

Is it just me, or do others hear "long suffering" and immediately think of our DR? IMO he's about due, Murphy sure delights on beating that boy up, don't he?

Yep, goal is to get them up so folks can save on them. Just want to pin down those slippery californian scientific glass blowers, make sure they are melting are sand.

When I saw you had the AC power adapter available, I went to your site to order it and was shocked by the price. It only took a few seconds to realize that it is made by the same quality standards as my T1, so using your coupon code, I ordered immediately. I love to read and I use my T1 most of the time, and not having to switch batteries back and forth while reading will be awesome!

Thanks again Thermovape, you guys are what every company in America should strive to be!

Well I got a shipping notice today...followed by the announcement of 18mm glass adapters being made :ugh: Can't tell if I'm thrilled or kicking myself in the ass for speculating this would happen and then ordering anyway. I'm sure the PTFE one will work great for now, I'll have to let my friends demo it though because as soon as I can get the glass on glass I'll probably just sell this to them. I'd like to think I'm not the type to break a GONG adapter so easily at home.

Feel like speculating the price of the set for the direct draw all glass mouthpiece and the 18mm gong together? If you are going to keep taking my money, at least give me time to save up and budget for it. :lmao:

need some help i have been trying to decide what vape i should buy i was pretty much set on the Persei until i came across the Thermovape. i have read dozens of pages on both threads and both seem great. i really want a vape that can handle flowers and wax. i like that i can use the themro carts with the Persei if i go that route but i also like the way the T1 looks for the flowers. how is the evolution compared to the original T1 for flowers. also which cart is better for waxes the revolution, dart, or Persei Carts. please any help would be great

EVO 6V
20 watts
15 second warm up
No stir
Able to put some bubble in between the herb for more hits
Around 15 hits or 2 bowls
Able to connect to a 14 or 18 glass piece out of the box
Has a power adapter available

EVO LV
20 watts
25 second warm up
No stir
Able to put bubble in between the herb for more hits
Connects to 14 or 18 glass pieces out of the box
Around 25 hits or 3-4 bowls
No power adapter available currently

T1
30 watts
Around 7-10 second warm up
10 hits or 1 bowl a pair of batteries
Able to sprinkle some kief on top
Stir or shake the device every couple hits to get even ABV
Has a power adapter available

You can take both apart and drop in ISO and boil then air dry the piece over night and it's like new.

I find the T1 extracts good as I can put a spent load into a stem and vape it with my log vape and get only a very small wimpy hit. I don't have experience with the EVO as the T1 does what I need but there are happy customers on both sides and there are some people who prefer the T1 over the EVO and some the other way around.

You can screw in a DART for your other needs. Someone else with experience using waxes can chime in.

Also, don't forget the 25% off your whole order happening right now and ends Thursday night. Just use coupon code MADEINUSA

There is a summer catalog you can read if you have not already http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0106/8282/files/ThermoVape_Vaporizers_Summer_Catalog_2012.pdf?3694

Wow! Awesome summary, PB! Really sums it up.

One minor correction, SV Evolution and T1 do have a PA available, you can order them as of a few days ago. LV version is waiting on a suitable supply which I'm sure will materialize in due time.

As a subjective opinion (perhaps the least useful?) I think the T1 does a slightly better job for the purist WRT taste and so on. Either system would serve well, although some might crave small advantages (say not having to stir?).

If you plan to do wax, I definitely suggest considering getting a DART as well. IMO it's the clear winner in many areas there. It's purpose built to vape all sorts of concentrates, not a modified anything else.

However, if oils and waxes are on the list I think you should also add a thread adapter and a few Omicron carts to your list. Go with 2.4 Ohm carts on a LV system (recommended unless you go with T1 which only comes in SV). If you go T1 or for some other reason go with SV Evolution (say faster heat times?) then buy a box of 5 Ohm carts to try. You can screw them into your TV supply any time you want a change of strain or just to 'kick back' with a vape you don't have to reload for many many sessions.

IMO there are a lot of great options here, pretty hard to go far wrong.

Good luck, no need to worry....you will enjoy it. No matter which 'it' it ends up being.

Hmmm... seems like somebody is very medicated. Read PB's post again, and you'll see that the PA availability is already listed for SV Evo and T1. :D :leaf:

I noticed that too, they are listed at the bottom, maybe the only real correction is the LV 3.7 might have a power source in the near future, but not right now.
