Not to worry, it's rated 100 to 240 VAC input. You'll need a simple plug adapter of course.

Is there anything special about the illuminated cap? I just want to know if I have both, I can swap them back and forth with no issue.

Almost sound's like you might have to send in to TET, to put tailcaps on, or maybe its just for the people after the pre sale that have to send in, to verify?!!

I'm having trouble getting this question worded correctly. I have both the plain cap and illuminated cap ordered. Will I be able to use either one at will, or is there something special about the Illuminated cap that requires "installation" every time I want to use it. I won't get both if I can't just switch them back and forth. I just wanted to have the option to use either one, I already have them ordered, that's not the question.

Not sure if pertaining to me, but i completely understand what you mean and want, just stating that the possibility that the tailcap has to be installed by TET, hope noah can chime in and answer your question thoroughly!!! Hopefully for those who purchased both non illuminated and illuminated cap's can effortlessly switch back and forth without having to send cera in to TET!!!

You only have to send it in if you want an illuminated switch for the upgrade price of $25. Otherwise, you can buy it as a second switch for $75. When you upgrade, you don't get a second switch because you are still only paying for one...the SS illuminated switch value is $75, the SS solid switch is $50...so that $25 you pay now is just to bump it up, not get two switches.

No special installation as far as I have been told.

Tweek she bought both and just wanted to know if she could swap back and forth between the two of them with out an issue. In other words screw the non illuminating one off and put the illuminating one on.

To tell you the truth, I thought there was an addition flex board or something needed to be installed till Noah posted this post. Still a little curious on how it gets power, but I'm sure that will be solved before long.
EDIT:
The "replaces" is enforcing just that. Nothing else required and is for cost differences only. Or am I reading it wrong. Probably.? I agree with smokum, best have TET confirm.

I think they wanted the one sent back if you wanted to change the switch so they don't get scammed. I think maybe they meant to say send in just the switch and the extra money and they will send the other one. :shrug:

I think as long as you get it in by early next week it should go out right before Chrsitmas. That is assuming their presale limit has not been reached. So best to get your order in ASAP and it should arrive right before or after Christmas depending on how long it takes to travel via USPS.

When the presales go down it's looking like people should be able to get one by New Years and then they'll be back to a 24-48 shipping window.

Does the standard cap look different in any way visually in the on and off positions? For example, does the switch click and return to neutral, or does it stay depressed when "on" I think a lot of people, myself included, are ordering the illuminated caps because we are worried about not knowing if the Cera is on or off. In some situations, like bright sunlight, it may not be possible to see the LED. Thank you

The Cera is gonna be shipped but We still waiting for video using the cera like an e-cig with VG...
I still wait for this video to decide if I order or not... member of TET please post this video.
