Hey there,

I do apologize about that - i have two orders which have been sitting way too long and yours is one of them. I have you nearly done - and I just got all my parts back together and organized the past week. I am definitely behind where I wanted to be - all my parts getting mixed up in the move was a huge mess and I think further demotivated me, but I have them all cleaned up now and things are finally back together again.

I'm hoping my HI wait will be over before too long, I'm also going to be getting my hands on a HomeGrownLog pretty soon - so I'll be in touch shortly with another order. What's the likely processing time for new orders at the moment?​

I am waiting to get my VK unit I sent back for repairs a few weeks ago. Hoping the move went smooth, missing my ability to use my HI. I have been in contact with VK, but I haven't heard from him in a little over a week.

Would I be able to somehow use this with a MFLB? I don't know how I would make an adapter to connect it to the MFLB terminals but it would be cool to use this with that as I eventually want to add a log vape to my collection and I'd rather use this than the power adapter that you can get with it

you probably could, but you'd have to make a power cord with an an adapter shaped like a battery on the end, like the actual MFLB power adapter.

you can buy dummy batteries and stuff, or some kind of round hollow cylinder, it probably wouldn't be too hard to make...

also given the mflb runs off like 1.5v, you'd probably want a VK with the tuning set to go very low so you could go down to like 0.5v or something.

Ya I was looking into that. And ya it looks like the voltage range I would need is around .7 or .8 up to 1.2 or 1.5. I could measure the voltage to see before I ordered. And I believe the resistance is around .1 or .2 ohms so probably 5-10 amps. I could get more specifics on these I'm sure from magic flight. And ya I was planning on using a dummy battery if I go this route

hmmm as long as the wattage stays under 25w it should be OK. 10a @ 1.5V would be like 15w so thats within the realm of reason.

i'd probably still recommend one with an ammeter so you can monitor the current draw and make sure you don't overdraw the vk or what not.

unfortunately i'm still really backed up right now so i'm not sure what the timeline on new orders will be. i'm getting some units out now though so maybe an update soon.

My main reason for waiting is budgeting so I'm gonna have to hold off for now...:/ just spent over 300 bucks on glass and adapters for my MFLB...

Sexy photos - gotta love that lighter and of course the VK's. I'm trying to avoid getting too anxious for mine but it's tough! I'm close to ordering my second log vape (Rockzap was my 1st, the Underdog will be the 2nd) so the VK has been on my mind extra time lately hehe.

Still no updates. Boo. Disappointing after multiple times that it was stated that it was ready and preparing for shipping. Feel a bit strung along with the cost of the unit and shipping in the theoretical toilet. Try to stand by your words and follow through! I shipped it back in March.

Thank you! I just wanted to update the thread. I have received my unit back, with a free upgrade to catch potential future issues with the cord to the log, and extra cords to boot. I really appreciate VK's honesty and transparency. Again -- thank you!

Glad to hear it's working well.

I'm working on getting all the remaining backorders processed, especially those that have paid up front.

I'm still behind where I want to be, so I've turned off the paypal shopping cart on the site, as I don't want to keep taking payments in full until I am able to get units done more quickly.

For now, contact me and it'll be more of a waiting list basis for any new orders. Sorry I have to do this, but I'm just not able to balance the VK stuff with real life anymore.
