I never wondered why because I never had the luxury of using their vapes. No herbal options at the current time being the reason. Either that or they have to start shipping concentrates as well :haw:

Ahhh...well that's good too. Can't wait to take a peek. This I have been waiting for...mostly to LAYG different oils and maybe even a mixture of oil and flowers.

Materials selection and whats in the path. You'd have to read the thread. You have much higher standards than most here.

and BTW my comment has nothing to do with the HVD top but cart construction and materials.

Ok, back on topic, From what I have seen in other threads the Universe will not have automatic temperature control correct? This concerns me a bit because, with flower, temperature is really important (this might be one thing that drives me to the Persei/8 combination). I think the HVD's press on stays on power button will work well with the Universe, and hopefully we can figure out the length of on/off time to get close on the temp we want. At least it should be much more precise than the Vapor Genie/lighter system which did not work out for me.

I do understand why temp control is not possible (or perhaps affordable in this form factor), I am just thinking about how it can be attained with manual control. With oils/wax's it seems it never needs to get hot enough to combust, at least I have never experienced it, even when I first got it and let it get way too hot chain hitting it all the time. Now I am mellowed and wait 20 secs between hits (and no more leaking problems for the most part).

My standards include safety for the most part. Is there something in these materials that you think I'd view as unsafe, or are you referencing the fact that I didn't like chemical odors/flavors in the solo and therefore I'm picky?

As a guess, DR, we're talking about the silica fiber used in the wick. In the e-cig world this is a hot topic I understand. Silicosis is a real threat at some level, it's got that name for a reason....

IMO it's all way overblown. The fibers involved are a piece of 'yarn' maybe 3/4 of an inch long with the center third in the furnace, and therefore the airpath. The ends of each fiber are on the outside of the seals, in the oil bath. Also there's the heater wrapped around this center section. It's hard to see how any fiber is going to get out even before the oil gets there and glues it all together. Then the crust of contamination in the oil (for lack of a better term) forms over that to make it even less possible. "Encapsulated" as the hazards people define it, basically 'out of the game'.

Then consider the risk. Black Lung Disease is real. But it's an affliction we find in miners who breathed dust think enough to pass for heavy fog for 20 or 30 years doing hard labor. Not even commonly found amongst most miners. We live in a dirty, dusty world. Watch a sunbeam, or put a piece of clean foil out for a day or so. We breathe all sorts of pollen, dander, fibers, and the stuff that collects in the corners of out lives all the time. Within limits, we are equipped to deal with it, IMO.

Chemical threats are another matter, but this is a mechanical one. Enough pin pricks will kill you, a few is not a big deal. This threat is real, you get to decide the scale of that treat.

i don't think so at all, in the carts delta makes none of them have anything you could call "hazardous" . Thats the reason why there here, to show the world the first pure safe hash oil cartage that has no cotton nothing that your burning.

Thanks OF that helps clear it up. I'll admit that I haven't done much omi reading due to not having concentrates available, hopefully once the herb carts come out I can research more (with your help no less) and see if there is any reason to add it to my collection.

I'd just like to point out that thermovape has some hash oil solutions I'd consider pure as can be as well. I've always been interested in OMI, but I just don't know if they have anything to offer me....CURRENTLY. That may very well change soon so I like to peek in here every now and then.
