So for a quick update:
This baby seriously rocks I thought I was getting a mild hitter with a slight improvement in air flow as the heat core is really a tweek on the original log vape design. However, I don't know how he's managed it, or if it's due to the wood species, but Alan has managed to make this vape hit like a beast - on par with my HI.
One thing I have found is that the power supply used makes a big difference to the heat that all of my log vapes kick out. I got a MZ originally but it came with a US power supply so I couldn't use it. I ended up using a VV 3-12v 1a power supply I happened to have kicking around so that's what I'd been using. When the TT came that's what I used at first and, as I said, I found it to be on higher end of the vape heat spectrum.
Since I have switched the TT over to a fixed 12v 1a that I got from China off ebay. Now the TT is still running hot but not quite as hot as the HI - for me the ideal temp On a side note; even at the top temp the outside was still comfortable to use.
I've still got lots of testing with all of the different stems, but for now I am very impressed with the function and form of this beautiful vape.
Here are a few snaps of my new beauty and also the stems I got in a crude rack I knocked-up. I've name her Marilyn after another curvy figure I love
