The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Tempest 2 will probably arrive by tomorrow. Have used the first version mainly with torch, resulting in a decolorization of the head. Turned greyish. Still a problem with the T2?

Otherwise I'll try to use it with induction only.

It's a natural effect of heat being applied to metal. Can be buffed if you wish, I prefer "lived in" 8)

I'm in the UK and ordered mine as soon as they became available again.
I received mine yesterday along with a reload FS, which I have to say looks fantastic. The Tempest 2 looks and feels great.
Fortunately for me, I'd also ordered an ispire wand, which also arrived yesterday.
I cleaned the Tempest 2 prior to use and made sure that wand was charged up and off I went.........wow...... what a great experience. The flavour and cool vapour blew me away. Up until recently I have been using a Dynavap Vong with the hypertip and THC cap and a single flame torch. I thought that the Dynavap was good, but have to say that it might be getting moved on soon as I cant believe the difference. Nothing against Dynavap, however the Tempest 2 rocks and cant see how this can be improved upon. Might think about a wood sleeve in the future. Hopefully this has cured my VAS.

That's good news for the EU! Only 4 x red V2 available at co.uk now. There was a small restock yesterday, but cleared quickly.
Good news for sure, but 289 Euro?! Think it’s a bit overpriced..
Am from Germany and ordered the pre order version straight from UK, with customs I payed around 230 Euros.
But yeah, I d probably still pay that price if I wouldn’t got lucky first time.

How does the Tempest compare to the Tinymight? I found the Tinymight way too powerful and the Seisson too short. Is the Tempest any different?
Very difficult to compare, as if chalk and cheese! Torch or IH vapes are a completely different world to powered devices. I have had all the known and some unknown vapes in the many years I have been vaping.

As soon as I got the V1, nearly all my chargeable vapes were put away or given away. I also had/have Dani and Dynavaps etc.

Needed a bigger hit and less time refilling than the V1's smallish bowl. Got a WOHW, a desktop ball vape. Big hiiter.

As soon as my V2 Ti came that's been collecting dust, I now have a V2 ally shield too, one for through glass and the other for fiddling with balls etc.

Hope that helps, just a personal experience, I wouldn't like to compare redundant objects to a Tempest!

Thanks, Is it also possible to heat it only on the first click and get several small, tasty hits?

Very much so, eg; if using an induction heater "dip and sip" is very useful early mornings for my breakthrough pain.

I strongly recommend reading back through this thread, at least 6 pages, there's a mine of info there 8)

i'd like to try the dip and sip. when you do it are you using clcks / vi or just dipping for a few seconds each time?

Will depend on so many variables so no hard rules. I let it cool after first full click hit, until cool click, then heat again but about half the time of the first. Will still get a click though.

Also the click discs take time to bed in ... 8)

I'd love yalls help and info on the following ..

I've been a big fan of the Revolves and Reloads for a while now. Use them daily. And now I wanna get a Tempest. Jeej!

I'm however doubting between the full (ti) unit, and just the head (to probably put on one of my v2 Revolves). Can yall explain to me the differences of whats going on with the vapor and fresh air within the Tempest v2 stem, as compared to the Revolve v2? Is there a cross section picture of the Tempest v2 somewhere (like with the Revolves in their manual)? Could anyone perhaps provide me with a picture of a disassembled Tempest v2 stem (and mouthpiece)?

Could anyone with a Tempest V2 head on a Revolve stem perhaps tell me something about when it gets hot? Like, within the 1st heatup? How are your cooldown times?

Tyvm for reading and replying.

This post on cleaning I have bookmarked might help. It covers a break-down and clean with pics. There was definitely a post with a fully disassembled Ti T2 laid out a bit back in the thread, gonna let you do the work finding it though, sorry.

Mine arrived today 😆 is the v1 torch guide still accurate or is there a different suggested way to go about it? Don’t want to damage anything hitting it with a torch. I’m traveling this weekend and very excited to use my v2, but my wand won’t arrive until after I’m back home.

You don't have to rotate it as much as the V1. Just heat the middle, I go to the 2nd mark on the VI and it's great everytime.
