Does ordering now also come with extra orings and screens? I usually pick up extras of those but was unsure if it already comes with some of that or not (description seemed to suggest it does but wanted to confirm here).
Edited my response as Dirigible provided a much better answer! See below.

What’s included?
  • Tempest 2.
  • 3mm zirconia balls within the Head.
  • Medium (Long) cooling unit.
  • 4pcs Spare O-rings (6x1, 8x1) 3pcs Bowl Screen, 2pcs Ball Screen,
  • C-tool and tube for setting the Bowl Screen.
  • Extras with this batch: Wand Stand v2 (Includes the adapter, improved performance compared to the previous glass adapter), 2.5mm Borosilicate glass balls.

I often accidentally remove the screen while cleaning the bowl with the reload.
The solution is to debowl your Tempest with the Reload in a counterclockwise motion. The screen is loosened every time you debowl in a clockwise motion. Go the other way, counterclockwise. Feels weird at first, but it tightens the screen. I learned this one the hard way.
It’s easy to remember…… ‘unwind’ your cached bowl by rotating counterclockwise on the Reload.

If the screen is installed correctly the movement of debowling shouldn’t matter ime. But I also struggled in the beginning and was questioning my capabilities..

It helps to not flatten the screen on both sides, but just one - so it’s more convex. Then install the screen with convex part up.

V2 release, if you are still thinking about it.. this batch is nearly gone, it was bigger than we thought but it's close to sold out now with about 33 left, no Midnight or Black remain.

Thought the full release was supposed to be yesterday? With the batch on the site just being a little teaser prior to that. Apparently not?

Just went to buy v1 upgrade as likely gonna have to wait a couple months before buying v2 (if still available) but it’s listed as sold out.

Anyone know when we can purchase?

There are posts a few pages back from Brenyo who said that the main release with all the extras, bits, maybe a case etc may be a bit delayed due to a delay on Reloads, he wanted both available together. Maybe August, exact date not announced yet.

The MH site gives details of the still current pre release, it was likely several hundred V2s.

I have a question on the upgrade kit for the V1 - do I need the new V2 indicator/housing and clicks in order to fit the new V2 induction sleeve on a V1? Thanks.

The upgrade kit includes the new indicator housing + clicks + VI.
I think you could use the v1 housing with the upgraded layer…but the diameter difference could look strange

Tempest 2 Review

Having never owned a high heat capacity hot stick before this is a review from a relative noob.

I was late to discover the existence of the original Tempest and was waiting for a restock when I discovered the Tempest 2 was on it's way. I had never had a hot stick style vape before. In anticipation of the T2 I bought a Dynavap M7XL + Wand in the 420 sales so I could learn the basics from the OG and also get a bargain on the wand. I resisted the original drop but regretted it. Then some (one?) Ti's came up randomly on the site so I jumped on it and I'm glad I did.

Looks
Like many I think I initially thought the T2 was not a looker compared to the T1. I was wrong. Though I've never had a T1 in my hand I can say I love the looks of the Ti T2. It is beautiful. It was mentioned before and it was the first thing my partner said on seeing it - "it looks like a Sonic Screwdriver". And so it has a name in our house - the sonic screwdriver. I mentioned "the tempest" the other day and got a confused look in return.

Build Quality
The machining is gorgeous. Taking this apart is a pleasure. The threading is smooth and easy. Everything feels lovely. The only thing I didn't love was adjusting the bowl size. I have the hang of it now but am delighted to hear an improved bowl screen is available to make this job easier.

Usage
The instructions for the wand with the new adapter were the perfect place to start - 275°C. Works nicely native or in a j-hook for extra cooling. Also the j-hook allows a view of the vapour flowing! I have combusted a couple of times but that is all my fault - either let the T2 cool down completely before reheat or be super careful and watch for the risk of combustion!! You've been warned. No problem anyway just learning experience. The majority of the time I just love the smoothness, density of the vapour and even roast. This thing is very good.

High
Also it is effective. The high is excellent. Clean. The vapour tastes clean and high that follows is too, I find it initially soaring then gently settling into heady convection bliss. If there is a downside to the T2 it might be that the high is quite delicious so you may find yourself having that extra bowl...

Cleaning
Cleaning is very easy when following the given instructions, ISO soak, rinse, quick resoak and shake, rinse, dry. All good.

Accessories
I did wonder if I needed a cooling stand/magnet. I didn't have anything like this already and I didn't pick up a reload with my purchase. I did have a labetkomp tripod stand which works great as a stand and allows me to open the bowl before cooling fully. I would've been a bit lost without this tbh. I would love a nice cooling stand, I will eventually pick up a reload and I will eventually get another couple of tripod stands (and a case probably) from Duba. Regarding the case, the paper tube it comes in is pretty good and will do for now.

Madheaters
Madheaters have done a great job with this product. I would particularly like to mention the packaging. It was packed safely in environmentally friendly packaging, I even noticed paper tape. This is a big plus for me. Also this is carried through with the cardboard storage tube. It is just nice to see some eco packaging and minimal plastics (ok there were a few baggies but I think that's harder so I can accept). So I would like to thank @Brenyo for the wonderful product, the thoughtful packaging and everything else. They're doing a great job.

Conclusion
Get yourself one! :D

Great review with one caveat: you really want a reload. It takes using the tempest to another level. Get a factory second. You won’t be able to find the defect.

Agreed. The Reload provides a level of convenience you didn’t even know you needed, until you use it. I love mine.

Already have a Gen 2 factory second. Gonna wait til the Gen 3 comes out and then pick one of those up, and put the Gen 2 on backup duty.

Long time lurker, first post and one happy customer :)

Received my black aluminium sleeve V2 earlier today, and absolutely blown away by it. Thought version 1 was good but this easily is an upgrade in every way; less parts, less o-rings, and definitely harder hitting.

Found the complete strip down and rebuild very easy, although ball retaining screen seems fiddler to fit over V1. New wand adapter works great, dropped temperature down to 270°c for my third bowl and seems smoother.

Big fan of the wood sleeve on my V1 so will be ordering the V2 when the new Reload lands, as stupidly forgot to add it to my order in the excitement.

Regarding shipping to be completed by end of July on the site, is there a chance it could be sooner? I’m on holiday from the 24th worried I’ll miss it being delivered cheers
