i am not sure tbh. but brenyo kinda confirmed that it will have changes and come in the new colors. not sure if its really a v3 or just an updated v2, cant rember that it was mentioned anywhere:
Yeah, this is about as much information as we have on the new reloads.

I see Brenyo has added a "random mix" reload 2 factory second option for £27 to the mad heaters page, absolute bargain!

On madheaters, it says the wooden sleeve (v2) is 'compatible with Tempest V2' (but doesn't mention the V1). Is it also compatible with the V1 head and a good match for it as well? I have a V1 head (plus Revolve 2 CU) without any stem for it, so wondering what stem to buy for it? Cheers

The V2 wooden sleeve is not compatible with the V1 as there is no stem within it, it fits over the V2 stem.

got it....Is there any sleeve left to buy for the V1 head (+ revolve CU) then? Bearing in mind that the v1 wooden sleeve is no longer in production.

Being the future oriented kind of guy that I am (being generous to myself) I found myself buying extra screens and orings as well as a new Reload. Most folks have mentioned they could hardly tell the Reloads are seconds.
I’ve been using my factory second Reload Gen 2 for about a year now. Never was able to find a defect anywhere on it.

I use custom wood sleeves made by Dovetail Woodworks for my V1 Tempests. They are designed to be DV stems and the choke hole is positioned as such but they work perfect with V1 Tempest head, revolve cooling unit and mouthpiece. You could also throw a V2 head on the stem and use it with the V1 Revolve Cooling Unit ….. Sweet AF! I like the extra stem length as I had a nasty habit of burning my fingers with the shorter stock wood V1 stem.

The new laser cut V2 bowl screens are very much drop, push and click. I used the flat end of a wooden brush, push gently & centrally.

If you're still having trouble with changing bowl size get some 8)

Anyone know if the bowls (and I suppose the flip side would be the caps) from V1 and V2 are cross-compatible?
They aren’t unfortunately. V2 bowl is wider.

I haven’t shipped any of the new screens yet. I have sent out some beta screens that look very similar, but it only has the airflow improvement.

They're cool but not available outside the us?
Pretty sure they ship world wide. They have a shipping cost estimator on their site so you could check if your location is serviced. They SHOULD ship globally….. very small lightweight packages with artisan creations that are beautiful and functional. I’m not affiliated in any way (different country, don’t know the dude), just a fan with VAS LOL. The Tempest is my favorite vape and I just had to find a solution for my impaired working hand and a preference for wood (or glass) stems over all metal (too hot for me, although V2 Tempest metal stem is superb for cooling, no hot fingers). These longer wood stems solved that and Tempest now Reigns Supreme around here.

I’ll share a few more of my Tempest set ups with DTWW stems. L is V2 Tempest head with V1 Revolve guts. Different ball mediums in color coded heads…. Love it!

Anyone have pics of what the green or purple shield looks like? Was hoping for the blue but now I'm contemplating these two options but would love to see more pics to get a better idea of what they look like irl. I have no idea if these are out in the wild yet or not though because I've mainly seen a lot of pics of silver.

Mine is crooked like fuck. I'm not even sure it's in the groove all around, no matter how good I flatten it before.

Do you know if the boro balls be cleaned with a torch like the stock zirc ones?
Yes you can clean them with a torch but dont overheat them. I think they can break if you heat them too much. i had never an issue though.

Im really excited to try out the new bowl screens! The original bowl screens are very fiddly to adjust. I often accidentally remove the screen while cleaning the bowl with the reload.
For the V1 i use Wolkenkraft screens that have a solid edge and this makes them so easy to snap into the groove inside the head. Does anybody tried screens from other vapes which fit inside the v2 head and do a nice job ?
