I like the glass stopper of my buddy, and I was thinking an angled one as well to keep your hands away from the Apollo. The design of the buddy is almost perfect. use the center stem for the carb and put the Apollo on the side with a little vial below it.

maybe a small handle that sticks out a bit from the stopper might help keep you from grazing the Sub when you go to carb?? like you see on the slide bowls.

I am still concerned this will not medicate me to my desired level. Is the high like a combustion high or is it more like a vaporizer high? Mine should be here tomorrow or monday... guess I will find out then. I am slightly optimistic it will work for me.

I get the vibe we look for the same thing from our medicine. Still alot of testing to do, but I think you will be pleasantly surprised by its effects. I am definitely interested in your feedback.

No, unfortunately. Wish I had the chance before grabbing this guy, but am eager to see more reviews by cloud owners.
I'm pleasantly surprised ... I don't find it like a combustion high at all and it does extract like a Cloud ... the Cloud maybe has the edge on style/safety/? but the Sublimator has the edge on smoothness of hit it seems to me, especially at higher temperatures. I also doubt I'll ever use butane and my HMK Ti Curve again if I have electricity ... man did it ever do an awesome job of vaporizing concentrate (I last vaped over an hour ago and I'm still really feeling the effects in my eyes which is unusual)
Edit: When I took the hit of wax, it was gone before I realized that I had gotten anything ... it was unreal how smooth it was, and when I looked at my bubbler it was a dense white fog. Took the whole hit at once and it had zero harshness to it.

If you are patient, then no. The part that is a bit frustrating IMO is setting your ideal temperature, as there are no set numbers to reference. Once you have that set, then it's as simple as warming it up, popping your herb in and taking a draw.
Having never vaped before, you will have to figure out your vaping preferences for the first time, so that could be fun or more difficult for you than starting with a unit that has a temp gauge
did anyone else order from enrico directly through sublimator.ca? I have the entire *sublimator kit* on the way and Just thought i'd ask as it was shipped june 2 and I continue to check my doorstep everyday. reading these forums doesn't make the wait any more less agonizing

I don't think you should do that, considering how well the volcano is built. It's good to have a back up unit that you know will work when needed.At day two, I am ready to part with my Volcano. Maybe I can send it to Vapecritic.
To get the effects that the sublimator gets, besides the smoothness, just start your vape session at a low temperature to boil off all the lowering boiling substances, then when you get to around 355f-365f, raise the temperature to it's maximum setting. This will allow more of the thc to stay in contact with the hot air, and oxidize to cbn. If you were to just start high, a lot of the thc won't oxidize as much due to the other substances cooling off the vapor once it hits the bag, and blocking a lot of the air that will allow the thc to combine with oxygen to turn to cbn. It can still oxidize but, it will take longer. You want this effect right away so the technique I described will work better. You will also get less condensation on the wall of the bag, which means more goes into you. Remember to use very little, as using too much will cool off the temperature within the bowl.
By alternating with your regular routine in the day, and this technique at night, you can get different effects from your same herb. Daytime will be more energetic, night time would be more relaxing.

I'm tracking mine through customs as well, jam. I hope I'm not over-anticipating when I read about jcat's eyes. I haven't felt that since college!
My biggest question is what does this do to a person's tolerance. If it has massive extraction from a small sample, that will save money, but if we are absorbing more than with a regular vape, will a regular vape not be enough after a while? I'm looking forward to testing this out!

Not if you use a high temperature(446f-455f) technique on a regular vape like I described in my last post.
I vaped for two weeks using the Volcano at #9 prior to the subimator arriving...nowhere near what I am getting here. I've also tried lower temps, around the #5 mark and # 7.

I'm an all day every day Cloud and MiniVAP user (like my Cloud around 1-1:30 usually) and I'm falling asleep at my keyboard at 6:30 and feel pretty baked ... right down to my finger tips (literally ...) ... granted I'm pretty tired from some late nights of work ... but still ... it hits pretty hard! (working at lowering the temp as the last couple have been a little high as I'm trying to tune it in)
