When we received our Sublimator shipment yesterday, we like to test new items before shipping them to our customers. That is when we noticed that the 18mm Atomizers were not sealing tight in an 18mm joint. In a rush to get as many Sublimators shipped as we could, we included an o-ring as a temporary fix when we should have contacted Sublimator instead. Turns out they are designed with expansion in mind, once the Apollo is up to temp, the 18mm atomizer should seal. We apologize to our customers who we alerted to a problem that didn't exist. As always if any problems or questions arise, please contact us.apparently they've been in discussion with enrico and theyre being shipped anyway. the issue being resolved upon the unit attaining temperature. id say having it a little loose (when cold) will help it not get so tight once at temperature, and less likely result in the type of break in the instagram feed.
Update on this - the grill is another word for a screen, the moon tool is the actual tool. 2 grills (screens are included) you can also use an iolite screen as Enrico uses in his videos. There will be two Moon tools, one small version made from surgical stainless which will be included in all future Sublimator kits as soon as they are available and will also be sent for free to all existing Sublimator owners who didn't receive one in their kits. A larger more advanced Moon tool made from titanium will also be available as a separate product. So apparently the grill and moon tool no longer comes with it. They are redesigning it and possibly making it in titanium to be sold separately. Booooooo...come on guys, you couldn't include a basic pick?
Other than that, I am enjoying myself
The temp control has been customized for the lower power requirements of the Apollo as well as having a fail safe built in should something happen further down the line. We recommend NOT taking a bath while Sublimating and if you already know that you are "clumsy when i am high and could burn myself" then we would advise to play it safe and proceed with great caution or look at an alternative vaporizer that will better guard you against burns. But the Sublimator is fully made in steel. I found weird that they did not put an electrical and thermal insulation on the body.
I am clumsy when i am high and could burn myself or break the bong filled with water
In some of the Sublimator videos, I see he is using such a fine grind. What grinder is he using to achieve this? Is the Volcano grinder enough for a fine grind or do you have to invest in something better?
Both the Volcano grinder and SantaCruz Shredders are awesome, we know because we sell all of them. They both grind plenty fine for the Sublimator, it doesn't require as fine as a Launch Box, a med to fine grind is plenty.I just got an email with some basic instructions that suggested a med to fine grind, and the Volcano grinder was mentioned. I use the SantaCruz Shredder seems to put a nice grind out.

I woke up expecting to see a frenzy of vidoes of people sublimating. Anyone regretting the big purchase? Not as hoped? Claimed long lasting efffects not there? Does it just clear your nose for a few hours or everyone just toooo relaxed and calm to type let alone make videos???

As mentioned by Cheese, I think I am the first one on the forum (at least publicly) who has one. Still early for me to give a full review.
Sorry Tweek, you're no longer alone Sorry, for the shitty pics, ill try to get some better ones later.
Mine's doing the initial heat up...i'm so fucking pumped
You don't realized how relieved I am to hear that....I don't think I can keep testing as hard as I did last night
Enjoy!
Edit: I recommend giving the atomizer a quick swab with ISO and then let it heat at least a good half hour. It took awhile to burn off the residue.
If you need any help,I took my first hit of the day, and I really needed it since I woke up to a flooded basement. I dropped.5 in, at around the centre mark on the dial. I always let the apollo and the atomizer warm up together for a solid 20 min when I first switch it on. Dropped it in, took a big hit...went down smooth, with a little tickle, but no need to cough. I was able to hold it in for almost 20 seconds without feeling the need to expel. So there is indeed a smoothness there that I have not encountered with my Volcano or SSV without water filtration.
Duff came out a nice dark brown and looks pretty spent. I will let it pile up and test it in my Volcano for Francis...see if anything is left, which I doubt. I won't comment on how I feel just yet, as I have more testing to do. All I will say is...I laugh at you flooded basement!
allo everyone !! i am very proud to see some of you will have they're time in the clouds. thank you all for the turn around and the warm welcome . now time to sublimate the heck out of this chanel
