so i was testing the AI in the newest model Bud Toaster (m15 version 1) and the ballpark was around 40°F, so the temp was coasting up to the higher ranges (maybe 450°F or in that ballpark) and much more effective hits - and when i looked at the ABV it was indicating pyrolysis, rather than vaporizing, so yeah, bigger effect, but i think that is mostly coming from the lipids that are released at higher temps - i'm guessing lipids due to the coughing and lung butter buildup. or maybe more terpenoids are released, but the pyrolysis puts me off of that temp range. probably just due to the geometry of my heater.
as for wet herb - i have an hygrometer and make sure the bud is 57% RH before it goes in the vial - just part of my cannabis ritual.
