Awesome thanks alot i think i am gonna go with a splinter

I was also curious how much can i put into the stem will i be able to fit a .2-.3 in it?

With the mods you have listed you be able run the FJ software for the tobo evic.. With cruise I think you can pack a larger amount in the stem without scorching.

I getting really constant abv with it using it in TC mode. The load size isn't really an issue. Only time get I much scorching is when the temp cut off set to high. Doesn't take really any work like a unregulated device.
Can use it more like a conduction vaporizer with boost in cruise and TC mode if wanted.

Ok awesome can you tell me what your settings are on TC mode, I have been using box mods with waxes for awhile now so i should be able to figure out setting it up again thank you so much for all your help i really do appreciate it man

Hey All!
Hope everything is well with you all. Need some input, pretty please. Not hip on all the glass joint lingo and wanna make sure I get the appropriate size for my new Splinter. It came with two stems. One clear, one cobalt. The clear fits like a glove. The other, sadly, not so much. Just brings lots of air to an already effortless draw! Just wondering if any knew the official size of the two joints. I don't want to buy a loosey-goosey. Not looking to spend too much more on this.:| I need a longer/bent stem. Slow, hearty draws= hot fuckin' vapor on these shorts!

Other than that, I've found the Splinter is absolutely lovely through water. Problem is I can't feel any heat off the hit and if it's set too hot, Combustion City! Still combing through these pages for some possible TC settings. I dig wattage just fine, but figure TC may help curb the near char through my glass. Anywho, thanks for any morsels of info you share. Tough call. You could have a 19/19mm judging that it fits like a glove & the older 19/29mm cobalt stem doesn't fit well OR you can have a 19/29mm clear stem & the 19/29mm cobalt's specs are off. Mfr'ing spec precision is the reason Ryan switched to top quality German glass; he couldn't take the inconsistency between the batches & the even between the stems in each batch that came with employing China glass. And it was time to up-the-ante & take the quality of the Splinter & Milaana to a higher level, not only in the quality of parts used, but aesthetically, on the it's outside housing so as to match the quality of the vape on the inside. Ryan has hit a home run with the Splinter, Milaana & the upcoming Z. He should be so proud.

I've been trying to figure out what size stems to buy for my Splinter for a few days. I thought that I had figured out that my Splinter had a 19/19 joint. Since I made those posts I've heard back from Ryan replying to my question about stem sizes. He states that all of the Splinters made up until now have the 19/22 joint and they are just now making the transition to the new 19/19. So apparently I have the 19/22 size.

I've ordered a few stems to see for myself what fits. I've ordered an XL8R stem and a 19/22 clear glass stem from RBT. Someone in this thread said they had stems from Mountain Glass Arts that fit so I ordered 4-male 19/22 100mm stems and 2-male 19/22 120mm stems. I'll report back with my findings.

@ray_b, well, I'm finally glad that's resolved for you & all of us. :tup: Looks like most if not all the internationals will get the 19/19 & maybe some of the remaining US stragglers.

Do posts pics of the stems assembled with tips.

While I'm at it, my apologies to all if I posted 19/29mm joints in any of my above posts. I think I may have had a lapse. :rolleyes: Too tired to go back & check.

I've seen people on the waitlist get theirs, people not on the waitlist get theirs, the diy module sell out, accessories sell out, Ryan switch sites God knows how many times and still no concrete info on what's going on, a retailer in my country get stock before us and start selling it for less than we're being charged, while I patiently await a unit that is admittedly "not perfect" to see what size fittings I need to buy to actually use it :rant:

Yay - I got shipping notice - this fiasco is nearly over :clap:
