Indeed, I should've said like a personal touch. It does make these initial pilot production Milaanas each more of a unique collectable though, aside from the more superficial natural variations of the wood and glass

Finally, love the grain on this one speaking of. Although even this isn't a final production Milaana like they will actually be shipping (doesn't have the new intake screen or recessed glass)

Buenas noches FC: happy Saturday night fever. My friend was so happy with his Solo gift but we still complemented with Milanesa in between hits. He still likes a lot more Milanesa but Solo is the Victorinox of vapes IMO. Milaana is too complicated for him still.
I'm IMO an experienced vaporist but today I kill an 18650 batt I believe :(
I made one simple mod to avoid using any glue /epoxy on my air path, even if they are medical grade. And it's working very well. I'm getting thicker clouds, meaning less of those more airier hits found in the very few portable unregulated convection vapes. Desktop convection vapes like EVO are another league IMO.
Car vaping with Solos & Milanesa is getting even better.
I'm 90% car portable vaping. I really know a little bit about car vaping since 2012 Solos and more oil portables.
I just made this video to show you I always have my vapes with me 100% time...
It'll probably get banned because music copyrights, I just figured it out ;)
I almost choked on that video... Sorry no clouds because of stealth car lighting and so...
but trust me they were big.

IMO is a better option if you already have a Milaana... My :2c:

And IMO hair drier tech and old school water heater portable plug in tech has been already used and patented before... Maybe, but maybe this is a way better improvement in this time in portable vaporizers. Kudos to RBT, but IMO nothing new in tech.

If you like the Mi, you're gonna love the Zi. You will manage consistent hits and temp stepping more easily. I'd think you'd dig the regulated power - as in your (former?) beloved Airs.
I'd definitely go for it , if you appreciate the RBT heater tech- actually I did ;) (but I'm a patient person :p)

I thought about signing the bottom of it and telling everyone else to do the same. That would of been cool as shit. If every one who tested it signed it and then it made its finale journey back to her maker. Damn it I always think about cool shit after the fact. Story of my life.

Just to keep this on topic. I FINALLY combusted a few days ago in my mi. Big big ball of cherry red ember glowing in my stem. I literally blew the ember out the end of the stem. Fresh battery and even more importantly a clogged screen and that's all it took. A clean screen makes for a happy Mi.

It gives you a chance to discuss things with Sarah,was it? I'm terrible with remembering anything. Especially names. Asses I mean faces I have no problems with. Go figure.

Awwwww. Bummer! I got 6 in a few colors. Hope I get at least half will work. Maybe I'll luck out and the ones that won't work will be duplicates in colors I ordered. Will share here when they arrive.

@DieHard - are the ones you posted pics of the ones that work, and only the ones that work? Cheap Chinese, bad grinds or not - they sure look purdy! Do they fit in Logi like an RBT stem would?

If color is an indication of function (at least on this batch), I'll probably have only two bad ones. Hope so, anyway!

By the way, is there anything else I should buy for my incoming Mi? I bought the nitecore charger, have an 18650 meant for the Focus that I'm planning on using, a battery case, and I bought some 18mm m2m's and 14mm male to 18mm male. I know I need a case for the Mi...

You can try forming your own screens, but not worth the hassle in my opinion. RBT is probably the only place you'll find this size. I plan on picking up a bag of six when I get notification on my Zion.

@Ratchett has designed a screen making tool, but think it only works to create nano sized screens (smaller) right now. Pretty sure he is going to make an attachment that will create RBT sized screens if it isn't available already. Check it out here, with more info further down the thread. Be sure to catch @Stu 's video a page or two from this. It is really simple to use!

Other than that, just make sure the 18mm GonGs for the Mi end are US, not ISO. 22mm long is what you want, not 26mm.

EDIT: You may want to check the battery you have, too. I don't really know them too well, but there are major differences - even with 18650's. I got these on Amazon and think they are the same as what RBT includes with Mi and sells on his site. But, plenty more info about this through the thread. Search function is your friend!

Think ISO is International Standards Organization, but not sure and it doesn't really matter. What matters here is that the 18.8 mm glass connections are a little too long. Hard to say from looking at the pic on eBay. Looks to me like it could be either.

You can ask, but not many people (or vendors) are familiar with the difference. Oregon Glass Blower supposedly does and will do US if requested. Check further up the thread for more info on the issue and OGB.

EDIT: Oh shit! I need to slow down and let someone else type! Just realized I'm last post in all 3 forums of Vaporizer Discussion! :shrug:

They are cheap enough that if I had a glass torch I might buy a few and make my own M2Ms. Their apparent inconsistency may be a problem tho...

I would suggest buying enough so if one or 2 fit badly it won't be a big deal. Shipping seems to be the expensive part, as it often is.

Did you ask the vendor about this? Is he replacing them (did you ask)? I wouldn't mind some not working if the vendor was responsive...

Tho given their cost I could see some resistance from the vendor...

I did not bother. I cut one down with a dremel, but it was not the right blade for the job. It took a very long time.

Wellllll @Bravesst having a production heater Zion led me to selling my Evo (which i got when i was in Zion withdrawal) soooo I would absolutely get a second Milaana, a Zion, and whatever crazy stuff RBT cooks up in the future before I got an Evo again. Great vape, but not necessary imo :2c:

I will be testing @Ratchett's RBT screen prototype soon, but I would recommend getting a bunch from RBT either way, good to have and they're very durable, really great basket screens imo. For a case, try a digital camera clam shell
