I think the Mi is more in line with being compared to portables, unlike the Zion (desktop).
As someone who actually thoroughly enjoys their AAir (solo), I find the convenience of it hard for the Mi to beat. Pre-loading 2 stems, which come apart but still have a belt clip to keep compact, is one of the easiest methods of on-the-go vaping available on the market.
Without the clip, and the ability to pre-load and cap stems, the Air would simply be a smaller solo, but with all the fuss of having to deal with shit on the go.
This is how I'm seeing the Milaana. I'm seeing it as something more fuss-worthy when on-the-go, despite being a smaller unit. I picture myself on a trail for a walk. Now, with a stem pre-loaded, the day-dream is going well. Unfortunately, in this day-dream, I have finished my stem. Now I must find a bench or a spot to sit down, find a place isolated enough to be able to take out my jyarz, empty it into the cap, pull the stem out, cash, reload, screw on jyarz, put away, find stir stick in pocket, pack down/stir...ready to go.
With the Zion, I imagine it more like ... put the stem in the holder, unscrew the stash cap, suck from the cap, pack with tool already provided, good to go. All can be done most likely while walking, as pre-loading the stash spot + having the stir tool + being able to store the stem as you open the stash spot is just all such a huge plus.
It seems the Zion is more equipped for "on the go", despite not being pocketable. It is quite the ironic predicament for me.
Maybe a belt clip to hold the Mi + a capped stem would make me feel less overwhelmed with what I'm carrying. My very first idea was a rubberband around the Mi, slide the stem into the rubber band, easy. Idea two would be to have a rubber band, but that rubber band has Velcro slots that the stems can slide into, that way they slide out easier than dealing with a rubber band. Fuck it, put a clip on that rubber band too and you have a built in belt clip + stem holder. Boom. Win. Peace.
