New Milaana Owners
When it comes to the Milaana, there are many ways to get it right. I probably change things up on a daily basis without even realizing. Working the button is something you don't really get to do in the rest of the vape world (I'm sure there are some). While that's the best thing ever, it can also be a bit frustrating at the beginning.
Make sure your screens / stems stay pretty clean. They don't have to be spotless, but really clogged will kill your feedback until combustion. Feedback is everything. I give the water guys credit, gotta be way tougher. One simple way to keep the screen cleaner is to be aware of distance from the tip. Too far away = gummy (especially in some strains). Large loads can also mean the same thing. I like when my ABV pretty much crumbles out of the stem. I'm not able to get that on every single stem, but most.
Think of the button as the gas pedal, and your breath as the transmission. You're working both in constant flux, takes awhile to max out your abilities. Stay with it. Unregulated is a different animal, but worth it.
The other major variable is what you're after. Are you a ripper or sipper? Two very different approaches. I tend to sip (I get greedy sometimes, but my lungs pay for it), trying to keep temps down, taking lots of small hits. Cloudage is just there, but I don't try for it. Lately, I've been trying to really stay off the button and stick low temp.
Anyway, sorry for the rant, but like most ppl here, I love the Milaana, and want to share my experience. You'll get great advice here. I could write for hours about technique, from herb prep to ABV, but there is just too much information for this forum. If you have any questions, please ask.
Enjoy this excellent vaporizer, thanks for joining.
