God is THAT a beaut, stem and all. Very very pretty. I have not yet picked up any wood stem, but I think I am going to have to. Who is doing them lined?

Beautiful @vapen00b .
Are these stems custom orders from Alan or are they some variation of his 18mm wong roasting tubes on his site?

So the glass is straight and can be pushed out either end or removed for cleaning? Genius!Hi mate,
Custom order. I had to wait some months for Alan to get it done... But we're a patient bunch, huh? And we all know, in the end, it's been worth it
Edit: I guess in a way you could call it a variation of his wongs too.
Not really, they are stainless. Just meant color, not material on that one.
Just saw your DD: Milaana 20700? Got a pic to share of that? (or did I miss it somehere) I'm trying to talk Ryan into making the Milaana 2 a 20700 but he doesn't want to hear it because of the price of the battery. Make it, folks will buy it Ryan, easy as that. Please share your experience on that unit as far as sessions you are getting per battery, which battery you are using when you have a moment.
I think it is very important to embrace new tech like the 20700 battery rather than stick with 18650 perpetually.

I see that someone recommended Mountain glass. If buying from Mountain Glass I suggest the colored stems (Cobalt, amber, green). The clear stems were made from thinner glass and I was unable to get a RBT screen (or a stem-tip basket) to stay installed. The colored stems were thicker glass.
He can't answer, he's still in awe!
I just remembered that it is not only clear glass (from Mountain glass) that is too thin to hold a screen (in my experience). The glass that was not transparent was all too thin, I bought both white and jade that also had issues with screens.
When I say thin glass I mean the outside diameter is okay, the inside is just more open due to the thin glass.
I found no work around for the thin glass regarding a screen
If anyone figures out how to use these stems I would appreciate a heads-up so they can be put to use or tossed in the trash.
I have seen some screens that have little wing like corners that might grip a too wide stem. I don't know how well they would work but they are probably worth a try.I found no work around for the thin glass regarding a screen
The @Ratchett screens work and they aren't as stiff as the ones RBT provides so easier to manipulate and shape.I have seen some screens that have little wing like corners that might grip a too wide stem. I don't know how well they would work but they are probably worth a try.
OK, here they are and they are made by @Ratchett s screen press. You can buy just the screens to see if they work...

I'm very sorry to hear that my friendSo devastated guys, so upset right now, i just dropped and broke my only stem whilst stiring my herb, it dropped onto my tiles and broke at the bottom, ive went on 420edc and to ship to the uk it cost 18$ plus 45$ shipping which is too much for me, words cannot express how gutted i am
Im really hoping Rbt can help me
There's got to be a glassblower who could make you a simple 18mm stem somewhere locally.Im really hoping Rbt can help me
