Just returned from my vacation to have a great surprise for me when I returned. My new milaana had arrived and it's FUCKING GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!! So I happened to have a freshly charged battery and proceeded to christen the living hell out of it. Like at 3:30 in the morning. Such a great vaporizer. And how RBT has refined everything is so so cool.
Ryan you've really started something great with RBT. As I've said many times before IMO This is how vaporizing should be.

And guess what... today my MOST PRECIOUS one arrived. I dreamt of this for quite some time, now it's real and it feels so unbelievably smooth, this wood and finishing is ridiculous... Fucking gorgeous!!!

Quick question. Should I do dry burn? Do the batteries go in upside down? Can I leave the guitar pick attached but not in the way of the battery and copper or do I have to remove it?

I did a dry burn, but there was no smell at all anyway. I think they do several serious dry burns before they ship out.

I put my batteries in + down, - to the cover.

You can leave the pick attached and just out of the way. I posted a picture or two earlier of it with the battery in and pick out.

I'm finding that my mi works much better with a fresh battery every couple stems full.

Is it bad for my batteries to get charged that often? I rotate between 2 batteries.

Hard to predict the exact impact.

But these cells are cheap so do like you prefer. I value number of bowls over ease of use, as I don't want to carry tons of cells so I prefer to drain them down good. And seeing I only get 3 bowls per cell...

Some other users prefer having a responsive and powerful device with more predictable behaviour, that's fine too. It's clear that the 3rd bowl requires more work to extract...

My new Milaana is quite a bit hotter running. I believe. Less time on the button has increased my battery run time. I'm absolutely loving the retained heat on my hits. My very first Mi couldn't retain near the heat that this version does.

I'm absolutely loving it though. It's definitely taken all the VAS that I had running through my veins and crushed it.

Sorry I haven't loaded any pics of it. My phone and this community dont mix all that well. I've tried it at least a dozen times and it's a total buzz killer. And I hate buzzkillers.

My walnut/elmerald should be here tomorrow, I'm kinda hoping that it's on the hotter side. While I love the first Mi I got from @cannabis.pro , it was an earlier version and on the cooler side from what I've read of others. It's also got the new turbulator glass in it, interested to see if I notice much of a difference.

Either way, this one will be special and most likely babied around the house. There will also be a lot of pictures of her, I'm already proud

I'm finding that I like it hot! My Sony bat starts up very hot but to me it degrades quickly. My lg doesn't start out as hot but it's more consistent and last longer. This is just what I feel as I have not measure the batteries with a meter after each use.

Seriously, it sounds like you're paying attention to those battery dynamics. If you're getting the experience you want, then no meter is required

Are all the current units with the tubulator? I thought that idea was on hold from my reading of the posts beginning of the year and then I never heard it discussed again. It's summer now so I haven't felt any need to do any pre-heating at all, just drop the stem in press the button and I can taste the vapor within 3 secs or so, guess my unit is running hot too? I have no basis for comparison being a newbie and all. Good to feel all the positive vibes from everyone, those new MI's are damn gorgeous

All of the units currently in-stock with 420EDC have Turbulators installed. These are also units built by yours truly starting with wood prep & clean out, glass work on short stem & female joint, heater screens, air-intake, and screw shaft nut placement along with heater build. RBT did final checks, wired up the buttons and mains along with final finish and bottom cap reattachment.

I tend to not pre heat. My old V1 is tuned hot, so I asked for new purpleheart tuned cooler actually, I do like the long battery life though. I told him around medium standard, we shall see I like to ride low temps as he knows. Turbulator is in all new Mi's now I believe and that helps prevent scorch so mine should be good for newbies riding the button a little...

Went to back to my Milaana recently after Touch and Tubo ing for a while, in anticipation of the fancy new one. I really do still prefer this signature and style, it really is like analog tech with the simple manual style that really gets the most out of the herb. Also used the 30Q again and getting more than five bowls (that left it at 3.89v) so yeah they work well like the LG HG2s, love getting so many bowls though I do have plenty to swap, so hopefully new Milaana sustains that despite being a little more tamed?

Nothing to do but wait and see, he's just too busy building Zions! I actually told him no rush, priorities, so that's on me lol

I'll just wait for feedback on the half dozen + that have recently shipped. I would say that between Ryan and myself, we are vaporists compared to the team building the initial batch of Milaana, plus there have been many lessons learned over the past 15+ months of the world post Milaana.

I went back to my milaana after using the tubo for a while. I have 3 of them including the original but none are the very recent ones. The wood got very hot. I'm not used to that with my MVT or Tubo vapes and don't remember whether that's just normal for the milaana or whether there's a problem. The one I tried was my most recent. I'll check out one of the older ones to see if the same happens.

My zion is also one of the early ones (#20) even though I just got it. Ryan did a bit of fine tuning to make sure it worked but I think the newest ones are updated a bit.

Even though my og milaana is likely one of the cooler/less efficient models, I haven't been able to convince myself to buy a new version for a variety of reasons. But I would be first in line to purchase a milaana ii, if it incorporated this new 20700 battery technology then it wouldn't matter so much which model I have lol.
