@AJS Yes giving the most unbiased opinions. Know nothing about Rbt just fell in love with the designs and wood . I'm liking my milaana a lot on a fresh battery. Yes I got milaana milaana a week ago. She will be here Thursday so expect a nice review later in the day. My mail doesn't come till 3pm. Also my ddave mod for concentrates shows up same day . It'll be an even better day if my Mvt manages to show up haha. These high learning curve vapes becomes 2nd nature to me pretty quickly they also offer the most reward

got my milaana last week. Kicks ass!! I got my ddave concentrate chamber today. I read to sandwich the oil in between herbs. And to leave the milaana horizontally mostly. I'm afraid oil dripping in the milaanna.
Any tips FC?

Sandwich the oil and do a low temp hit to melt the erl into the herb. Shouldn't run down. Don't forget your airflow should technically fight the gravity pulling it down ... just check after each hit of its leaking or something. I wouldn't be concerned.

In my experience vaping with the herb sandwich method works as a cotton ball and sucks up all the oil. Haven't used the ddave mod I used wax in my sticky brick and never have a mess. Just long last bomb ass weed haha

I know very little about concentrates, but it seems to me it would be best if you kept the Milaana butt up so gravity didn't push your warmed liquids towards the screen. No risk that way. But like I say, haven't used them.
And watch out if you go to touch her, she may slap your hand away....

Got mine from 420edc.com last week
With a fresh new battery I just preheat for No more then 5 second

Newer are a bit hotter. Yours is still capable of huge hits. Consider vtc5 batteries. Helps pump out more power.

He can upgrade it in terms of recessing glass and adding an intake screen in place of the mesh ... don't think he'll tune the heater for you as that is basically redoing internal I believe.

Also depends on how you have your screens. Basket style at the very tip of the male end will make it more receptive to the heat. (Hey guys, remember when all we used to talk about was screen placement and dome vs basket?...never even mentioned anymore lol).

Also. With the stem NOT inserted ... before you start your session...put your lips over the air intake and against the wood body, hold the button and slowly blow into the intake (careful it can get quite hot). Feel the heat rise against your face until it's hot ... it's a good way to get everything nice and hot for when you stick your stem in and vape.

Also. Start your draw very slow ... try basket style right at the tip, very slight tamp, 5 second preheat and very slow inhale on a fresh battery. Lemme know how that goes and we'll move from there.

If it's just strands of steel mesh jammed in the intake hole, you have the mesh. You can take it out and put it back in with ease.

If it's a flat, smoot fitted screen you have the upgraded intake screen.

Just cosmetic.

I thought Ddave's concentration chamber was still for herbs, all glass no screens etc, but just named that... Am I wrong? Best way for concentrates has seemed to be hemp fiber or steel mesh (if upside down through water probably less of a concern regardless)

You're correct about upgrades. I spoke to Ryan on the phone about it, he'll fix broken glass, but no "upgrades" .

Your description at the end is exactly how I still start every session. It lets me gauge the load, battery and such for rest of it's time. It's also the advice I followed when learning.

Funny....I am Jewish, I live in Israel, I have visited the concentration camps and I had not even thought of anything amiss with the term "concentration chamber"

We discussed my Spalteds lack of power prior to your final e-mail on 13th, and as I really love my OG Milaana (much more powerful) I'm very keen to get the Spalted sorted out.
As I mentioned in my e-mails, the glass came out of my Spalted too.
You seemed happy for me to send it back over the pond when we last spoke, but I don't know where to send it!

I repaired my OG myself, but I'd really rather send the Spalted back for proper work as I cannot adjust the heater (weak and anaemic compared to my OG)


If any members here have had warranty work done could you please PM me the correct address to return my Spalted for some TLC?

For those of you finding success with the @DDave V3 Concentration Chamber, how are you hitting it?

I haven't had a lot of time with them yet, I'm getting great flavor, but like the V2 14mm kit, I ride the button almost the whole time. Is that normal?

Fluffy shred, very light tamp, don't think I'm over packing......just not seeing much for vapor?
