I have honestly not touched my other vapes since getting the Milaana. I am sad though I knocked the vape over and broke off the guitar pick so it now has a less cool pick that I had laying around.
We just received word from RBT this afternoon that we will be getting replacement guitar picks from RBT in the next few days. We requested some a few weeks back but RBT needed a resupply on them and they are custom with the RBT Logo branding so they didn't hatch overnight.

Do you have an idea when you will be getting them in?

I just had the most satisfying bowl ever since I own the Milaana.
100% Milaana-Fu, just plain perfect from start to end.
I feel truly blessed and like a real Milaanaut now.

I know, that's of zero interest to you, but I simply had to tell somebody about it.
And who could understand my joy better than you fine people? :)

Allow me to somehow quote a famous forum member:
Combustion = SAVAGE, Milaana = CIVILIZED

And, f*ck, am I baked... ;)

My wife just ran to the states for a family emergency. I want to buy some more 18650's. Right now I am using LG HG2 batteries in my vapes.

Is there any newer, stronger, better or cheaper 18650?

Since this is time sensitive I asked this at the Tubo Thread too.

Hope this is not off topic

As far as I am aware the LG HG2's are still preferable I just got a bunch from amazon recently.

I usually stick with IMRbatteries.com or illumn.com. They are both reliable and fast.

Amazon doesn't seem very good at ferreting out fakes. I've gotten fake phone batteries and chargers from them before.

Difference between VTC5, VTC5A and VTC6?

I need new batteries for my #1 vape!
VT5's and VT5A's both have the same overall capacity (2600 mah's) the 5A's have 25amps while the 5's just have 20

so if i understand it correctly...the 25A may reach its heat potential faster

The VT6's have a higher capacity (3000mah) but only a 15A discharge rate..which may be too low for the milaana?

paging: @KeroZen for confirmation???

Edit: whats the deal with these? are these the right chemistry type to work well with the Mi...or are these specs lies and it's label re-wrapped

420EDC sells VTC6 for the Milaana and I bought four of them. Seemed to work real fine. I note this about discharge capacity:

"Discharge: 15A Max Continuous or 30A Max Continuous with 80C temperature cutoff"

Not sure exactly what this means.

From another site, however, I find these specs which are indeed different:

VTC6 Battery Specs:

  • Nominal Capacity: 3120mAh
  • Rated Capacity: 3000mAh
  • Max Continuous Discharge Current for temp. up to 80 degrees Celsius: 30A
  • Max Continuous Discharge Current: 20A
  • Nominal Voltage: 3.6V/3.7V
  • Full charge Voltage: 4.2V
  • Internal Impedance 13 mΩ measured by AC 1kHz
  • Diameter 18.45mm max +/- 0.05mm
  • Length 65mm max +/- 0.05mm
  • Weight: 47 g Average
  • Positive terminal: Flat top
  • Color: Green
  • Battery Type / shape: 18650 / Cylindrical
  • Made in Japan
  • Manufacturer: Sony Energy
  • Intended use: Power Battery packs

Yep, almost. The VTC5A trades some capacity for higher discharge rate, should be pretty good for those wanting a hot and powerful Milaana.

The VT6's have a higher capacity (3000mah) but only a 15A discharge rate..which may be too low for the milaana?

They are 18A like the HG2 and 30Q. Hold voltage more than the two others but at the expense of a lower cycle life. 30Q run cooler and is closer to 20A than 18A, but slightly more sag than VTC6.

Can't go wrong with any of those. I still prefer the 30Q overall, as I don't like my Mi running too hot (too easy to scorch by accident, and such a pain when passing around to noobs...)

Thanks @KeroZen !! I assume hold voltage is where the output in volts over time when discharging is fairly flat?? And sagging is the opposite?

IMR does not ship by air. ILMUN does not answer until noon in CA.

I would like to buy some 18650's (12) and have them sent to MD for tomorrow or Wed am. Any ideas?

Thank you guys for replies!

I still don't know which to get.....I do like my MI hot, but I also like it to last....goes to show, you just can have it all! Lol

I’m stopping in to say I’ll be a proud owner of a cherry Milaana soon. I put in the order this Sunday and I cannot wait to get my hands on this beautiful looking vape!

Regarding batteries I will have three total which I think will be enough. I’ll have the lg that comes with the vaporizer, and I also ordered two Sony vtc6 batteries. Reading the above comments has me second guessing my choice and I wish I went with the VTC5’s instead, but I guess we will see how the 6’s do for now.

Well until I actually get the vape I’m going to go back to lurking and reading tips on previous pages. I’ll check in again soon!
