Its made so that a coil will have a better heat transfer using a better connection method. It looks nearly the same with a kind of cage around it basically. I would have to have him point out the changes besides the outer cage thing. Looks pretty clean though!

The V6. The V6 uses 2 flat metal square plates w. screws to secure the flat nail coil making better contact and heat transfer.

Here are images of the Supreme Version 6...
Not sure if the coil still fits inside a pocket or if the plates hold it in position.
I will be sticking with my V4 as it is an amazing device!
Not a fan of the new design. I think a thicker body would be more attractive and would also work as a heat retainer, not that this vape needs it with the coil.

It sits flat against the heater block. IMO I like the design, it's a lot better than the v4's design
