Wow so no new material for the mp/pong? That is a bit disappointing. I think that price point might push you over the market value considering all the other vapes out there at the $250 price. A ceramic cera for oils is the same price with way better materials. I hope you can get that price down a lot but in either respect good luck on your new vape.

Bout time Paka, I was waiting for your thoughts.

IMO
i'd pay 150 max for the classic pinnacle , and i wouln't buy the pro because there is no real upgrade.

IMO they should of release a single model , the "pro" model . and lower its price .

I don't think anyone here is qualified to tell TRVB what his price should be. You can express your unhappiness with the price (although you should save that for the Pro thread) but you have no idea what his business costs are.

I like it, TRVB! I'm assuming my consulting check is in the mail? :lmao:

Seriously though...nice work. That range of temperatures is sure to satisfy almost anyone. Not so sure about the proposed $299 price point. Think of the other "pocket" portables the PRO model would be competing with: CERA $249, PAX $249, INHALATER XP $249, ASCENT $249. I LOVE the Pinnacle, but without the battery life and quality of materials of the other pocket portables that I mentioned, $299, IMO, will simply not fly.

Pakalolo...I don't know what TRVB's business costs are, but if the PRO's price isn't competitive, it will price itself out of the market.

i love the progress w/ the pro TRVB!!! I remember on early in this thread you mentioned that you might do an upgrade exchange w/ pn for the pro w/ a small fee. TRVB have you considered having that option for when the pro comes out? also w/ the price i think $299 is little on the high side IMO. i agree w/ Crohnie $249 would be more realistic. just giving my :2c:

note that i said IMO.
it's true , i have no idea what his business costs are.
but after trying the product i can tell that the price/quality ratio is not what i expected.
so a more expensive "pro" model , with so little upgrade... not worth the price IMO.
like i said , trying the product. this is not based on a daily basis usage.
just saying that the "pro"' model should of been the regular one in the first place.
once again , my 2 cents.

yes - I mean from all rise records.

One reason I did not buy from you guys directly is both your packaging and credit card statement say "vaporblunt" vs. another more stealth name like "all rise records" used by gotvape. This matters to some people.

I got your email, it's a little hard for me to see (advice: always shoot glass against a black surface) but it looks like while attaching they melted the diffuser slits a little much and it caused a slight deformity. It is a judgment call by our QC if that is a second. In reality, it doesn't effect the use unless the holes have been closed but it doesn't look very pretty. You can contact vaporbluntdavid@gmail.com if you would like to return it for another, but keep in mind that it most likely will be 2-3 weeks by the time we get yours back and you receive the new one. Tell David I approved you to return if you end up going that route. Hope it works out!

Yes, your check will come in the form of me sending you a pro when we start our normal testing period! who better than you to tell us if its worth the xtra $$$$. After you have used it, than I will except all constructive criticism on pricing

Have you gotten your pinnacle claim processed yet? You can warranty with me if you'd like, just email me vaporblunt1@gmail.com

I was going to PM you when I found out you had a pinnacle on the way! I know your review process is to really get to know the device before you form an opinion, so I will look forward to seeing it!

Edit. Shit, I totally ment to put that as an edit on the last post, sorry.

mod note: TIFTFY.

I really appreciate that TRVB but i already started the process w/ gv so im sending it back to them by today. You were right about what you wrote recently on this thread about there are perks buying straight from the source. well lesson learned! but TRVB the way you handle your customer service is impeccable and is one of the factors that made me lean into buying the pn over 2 other vapes i was looking into buying. if for some weird reason this 3rd unit doesn't work i will definitely contact you!!! but im crossing my fingers and hopefully the 3rd time is a charm!!!

We have a 2% return ratio, I'd need a math guy/girl to confirm but I think the probability of that is .0008% better known as 1:125,000. Point is, if the third doesn't work you might be the unluckiest person on this forum.

I am happy to see the PRO is gaining traction. I also see very interesting comments about it; let me throw my :2c: on the subject, with the only intention of providing an advice/opinion I was not asked for and with full respect for TRVB and his nice products.

Very true.

This is also very true.

Pakalolo...
When I decided to buy mi pinnacle, I did it because of stealth. So, for me, its competitors are xp and pax,
and the later seems to be on a lower quality level (from what I've read).

XP, this will be the contender, IMO. In the end I went for the pinnacle, but I was really tempted to order this one.

CERA is not so stealth, I think, beacuse of the technique required to vape flowers (again, I havent used it, I just read about it), soI'd put it against VB2. Also, if you don't have that batteries, add some bucks there.

The ascent will be a tough contender also, provided it delivers well. Quite big but its design can make it very stealthy, we'll have to see the reviews.

On the upgrades,
* ability to use while charging; :)
* 5 heat setting from 350-430 (the temps may change);
* smart design protection from nuking your device if you plug in the wrong charger, the device blinks red and shuts down to prevent damage;:| not really necessary, I'd rather not pay more for that, I put stickers on the PAs.
In fact, I recently found at a local shop the cable that converts from USB to the pinnacle power interface, so now I charge it from my phone's USB PA, and I dont have another PA around.
* We are including both the pong and the standard MP; not really a pro/basic difference
* battery life indicator; :tup:

I tend to agree with the comments that in the end there will be few differences between the two models.
But the PRO price will be about 30% over the actual one so I think many people will go for the cheaper, and that justifies leaving both options.
Wow so no new material for the mp/pong? That is a bit disappointing. I think that price point might push you over the market value considering all the other vapes out there at the $250 price.
Thats also my opinion on both subjects.

I want to finish with a photo, it was taken at haarlem, a city near amsterdam

overvaped...I think including the $30 PonG is a good thing. That almost makes up for the $50 difference right there, and then you can use it with your existing collection if you don't want to splurge on the HT. Some of us don't even use the mouthpiece, but prefer the PonG even without water.

Personally, I think $300 would be a much more reasonable price point if the warranty lasted more like 5-7 years, and the battery was guaranteed for that length of time too. The thought of having to shell out that kind of money if my PN breaks right after the first year is painful.

The Pax @ $250 comes with a 10-year; that's pretty stiff competition.

The pax may be the only company with that warranty...I can't think of any other vapes with warranties that long. Personally, after three years I don't get the point with new companies. Who says they will be around? With new companies I prefer to see how they respond to customer complaints and product failures. And no one guarantees batteries like that. It would be nice, but you might be expecting a little too much.

I think it's past time that the Pinnacle had an article on Vaporpedia. How can we make that happen?

I started it Cronhnie but this is my first time and I am doing it in a doc file to just give the info to paka or cent. I am having issues with how it is suppose to be formatted. If someone wants to take over I will send them what I have. I suck at writing in case you haven't noticed.

Don't worry about formatting Dreamerr, as long as you've got all the content you want in it there I can take care of all that. And don't worry, we aren't writing the Encyclopaedia Britannica here - nobody is going to critique your writing style :)

Certainly good points SS, but I do think the price point would be easier to stomach with some guaranteed support beyond that first year. Even 3 years would be an improvement. Support & customer service are excellent now, to TRVB's credit, but they have no obligation to help once that first year is up.

Can't argue with your point on the batteries, just wish it wasn't always that way :\

I received mine (thanks joe) glad i got this since the ascent was delayed again.
First impressions are very good. I did notice that after one session the charge light doesnt blink, but still seems to charge. after 2 or more sessions it does charge. this is probably normal. does it still trickle charge when finished blinking?

Yeah it should have a lot of charge in it, it only blinks on the charger when it's under a certain percentage. Just charge it for a few hours and use it until it dies to make the battery meter more accurate. Enjoy!

Hey guys! Just kinda checking in, I got the pinnacle as soon as TRVB was taking PMs for a cpl orders in the beginning and have been using it everyday since, it's really all I use. Heavy, heavy usage! But I just wanted to say it's still going strong and hasn't giving me any issues. I also clean my pong piece with 91% walgreens brand alcohol and do not have a fogging issue, I just put some alcohol in a plastic sandwich baggie throw the pong piece in there, shake it around for a minute or 2, take it out, clean with a q-tip, repeat until clean then immediately rinse off real well with water. I love this product and will definitely buy the pro, have this original as a backup. Thanks TRVB!

TRVB does the pn trickle charge with solid blue light?
I think so, but I'll double check.

I'm glad to hear this!

On another note, I have a proto for a new water tool we are doing. It has a freezable glycerin section, think illedeplh but not as crazy http://www.glasspipes.org/Img221557_Triple_Coil_w_Diffused_Perc_Section_and_Dub_A_C.tr.

It really cools down the vapor like nothing I've ever used, but it isn't cheap. I'm wondering if people still care about this, and if you would be willing to pay $150 for a WT that is basically the pinnacle tool with a freezable section on top. I need some feedback please!!! I'll get a pic up soon
