hey everyone. this vape seems like it’s a great portable. these reviews have me excited about it. Does anyone plan on doing a video soon
Alright yo, witness the Pinnacle.
Have you tried sandwiching any other concentrates other than kief? Really interested to know how the high temp setting handles waxes, oils, full melts, and bubble.
Thanks
New to the forum ...great info here. I decided on purchasing a PN largely based on the R&D I've read in this thread, lol. Thanks to all who've forged ahead in this endeavor.
btw...got vape has the wt for 100 but can get 20% off order, so good deal.
anyone know/try if this would be effective mixing concentrates w/ dried flowers in the bullet
Thanks.
In regards to the Solo v PN, I see the PN as a compliment or wingman to the Solo. The short battery life and lack of chargethrough makes the Pinnacle unsuitable for daily driver usage, but it's awesome size makes it great as a portable.
Once I consolidate and shift around some of my extra glass and vapeware, I'll be picking up a Pinnacle and Water tool for my portable vapor usage, and using my Solo as my at home/extended session vaporizer, thanks to it's more flexible attachment system (I plan on getting a female jointed stem for it to pair with my PVHES Male GonG) and passthrough technology.
BTW, can anyone touch on the Pinnacle's ability to take concentrates?
I just tried some Blue Dream with a nice glob of CO2 Honey Oil; highly recommended.
The flavor was awesome and I got thoroughly medicated. I wanna pick up some hash soon; I have no doubt that the PN will kill it. I'm not sure it would get hot enough to vape solid waxes like shatter.
Despite the battery life and lack of pass-through, I've been using the PN daily on my way to and from work, as well as in bed before bedtime. Depending on your needs, I think the PN makes a great daily driver.
UpUpandAway, where did you get that case for your Pinnacle+WT? How do you like it compared to the Pax (for on-the-go use)?
csw beat me to it and he is correct; it's an omicron case. I think it's a generic case that different companies brand with their own logo; most e-cig stores will carry them under the eGo brand. You can also go to D9.

The PN kills the Pax, imo. Before the PN, the Pax was my go-to portable/stealth flower vape. With the Pax I like the fact that I can load a lot (usually 0.5g) and the size and design are awesome. However, the PN outshines the Pax because, due to it being primarily convection, the load isn't constantly cooking and lasts much longer. While the PN does produce some odor, the Pax is much more noticeable.I think the screen and narrow air path in the mp of the PN help to contain some vapor. As sticks said, if it's off then I feel completely comfortable carrying it in my pocket.
So far, I haven't run into any problems with usage of the PN. The Pax, otoh, well... the mp sticking got suuuuper annoying.
Both are extremely portable and stealthy, but I like the size and shape of the PN better. It's longer than the Pax, but also skinnier, and I like how it fits in my hand.
I was about to order than found out it wont charge and vape at the same time
I was hoping for this feature as well, but I don't consider it a deal breaker. The portability, stealth, efficiency, and wt more than make up for the lack of pass-through capability.
If you ever tried the INH that would be more of the same category to me.
The feature of the inh that I like most is its pass-through, even in the car. However, I never liked the flavor profiles I got from the inh. The PN slays the inh in that regard. The first 3 hits I get from the PN are pretty damn tasty. Imo, the 1st hit I get from the inh is no bueno.
I usually started on 5 when I used the inh, and I already found the vapor to be uncomfortably hot at that point. The low setting on the PN is very manageable for me and I feel is much more effective than what I get even from level 6 on the inh. High on the PN will make me cough towards the end of the session, but that's where the wt takes over.
I also feel like the PN feels more significant in the hand than the inh; I always felt that the inh was too lightweight (at least for me).
I came here to ask about the vapor heat without the wt as well.
Also wondering how this device is to take a few puffs, turn it off and start again later. Sometimes I just want to hit it and quit it instead of a session.
I can affirm sticks' experiences regarding this aspect of the PN. I use the PN on low on my way to work until the auto-shutoff, at which point I'm sufficiently medicated. On the way home I can continue to hit it on high until the auto-shutoff, at which time the abv is an even medium/dark brown. In other words, you can hit it and quit it without worry of losing vapor.
Does it have a huge smell in your pocket abv and fresh loaded as others do? Does it have a cap on top to hold the smell in somewhat?
I don't think odor is an issue. When you initially turn it o, it
does smell, but not to the degree of the pax. There's no cap, but I think the narrow airpath of the mp helps to hold vapor, and hence the smell, from getting loose.
Well we all get vas from hanging out here. I don't use my solo out in fact only did one time. I use the INH which you don't have so can't compare. I wanted a cera for the cleaning but without a latching switch and the switch placement it would be a pain. Since this is primary convection I am assuming, wrong maybe, that the temp can be controlled with breath even though there are two settings. Please correct me if I am wrong. I wanted the ascent and more then likely will get it again for cleaning but it won't be out for a bit... I actually rotate between my solo and INH almost daily cause it is easier for me to use then the ssv in bed...
Yes, I've found that temp can be controlled by draw speed. Sometimes I use a "micro-hit" technique similar to what's used with the mflb; the intervals between hits helps space out any harshness.
Regarding usage in bed, the PN can easily be used while lying on your back. If you are able to sit upright in bed, then you can use the wt, making it an awesome vape to use in bed.
@FINCH.. How long does it take for you to go for another back to back session with the steel bullet? I know it gets pretty hot so how long do you wait til you can handle it? Reason asking is because I usually go for back to back sessions or reload right away with my XP.
This depends on where you want to do a back-to-back load. At home, I just dump the spent bullet onto the table (it's hot as fuck) and pop in a freshly loaded one. If I'm out and about, I have a small container that I can dump the hot bullet into.
how easy is it to clean the inside of the pinnacle?
The only part of the PN that needs "cleaning" is the chamber where the bullet sits; all you need to do is brush out any specks of abv. However, I have some dark spots on the white heating element that sits at the bottom of the chamber where the bullet goes. I haven't noticed any change in performance, but I'm sure some people will want to clean this part.
Trvb, do you have a recommended way to clean the heating element?
