Well, since we're doing giant plants, I'm going out on a limb here and posting my photo of myself to show off these elephant ear plants I grew in Alabama. This was the last year before we moved to Washington. At that time, I had been growing those two tubers for six years. I was awfully proud of them.

Two 5 year old children undergoing chemo at Children's Hospital in Pittsburg.

Maliyah was diagnosed with neuroblastoma after doctors found a tumor growing in her abdomen when she was just 2. DeLuca has been battling myeloid leukemia for the past three years.

The mother of one of the kids who took the pic and posted it up on Facebook said, “I want people to feel what I felt in the moment I took the photo.”

The children met the same day this picture was taken.
