My apologies if I am wrong, but I don't think these have been posted here before - I don't recall seeing them & I had a quick search.
Even if they have been, they are worth seeing again because I think that these pictures from beneath a microscope are simply amaaaaaaaaazing!
Here is some household dust including cat fur, long hair, twisted synthetic and woolen fibres, a pollen grain and insect remains . . . Mmmmmmm tasty!

A wood ant holding a microchip in it's mandibles - ahhhhh bless! . . .
Some alien looking butterfly eggs on a raspberry plant . . .
The head of an embryonic zebrafish magnified 500x. . .
And finally, one of my faves - the head of a maggot of a bluebottle fly . . .
