We're here to fuck shit up.
So, I promise that I had no idea about DaVinci's awesome contest. I've only gone into the Ascent thread two or three times, but never saw mention of the Haiku contest that was actually thought up by the members that were contributing to the thread. Awesome idea for a contest, so awesome that I actually had the same idea one night while spending a lot of time with my LSV. Long story short, the final decision made by all was that two Haiku contests are better than one.
I had a lot of fun holding the MFLB giveaway I did around Christmas, so I wanted to do another giveaway. Unfortunately, I don't have another MFLB to give away, but I thought that this would be a fun contest for a decent prize that all of us vaporists could use.
THE PRIZE
One 2" 2 piece silver Space Case Grinder & two horse hair flux brushes that are great for keeping the grinder clean. I've owned this Space Case for about a month, but have never once used it. There are a couple superficial scratches on the outside, but the inside and teeth are pristine.
Listen, I know we get stoned and some folks aren't very motivated to read while stoned, but we're also all adults, so just do everyone a favor and read these rules. By not reading the rules and doing whatever you want, you're just wasting everyone's time and kind of making yourself look like an ass. So, just read the rules.
This contest will be open for two weeks. Starting today and ending on 5/7/13 at 12PM EST
Please refrain from posting anything except entries in the thread. Chitchat in a contest thread can be quite bothersome.
ELIGIBILITY
-- You must have at least 15 posts prior to the date of this contest posting to be eligible. I will personally be checking this thread on a very regular basis and keeping track of eligible and ineligible entries.
-- This contest is open to FC members the world over. If you are an FC member and you have at least 15 posts by the date of this contest posting, you are eligible.
-- ONLY ONE SUBMISSION PER DAY PER ELIGIBLE MEMBER!! ANY MORE THAN ONE SUBMISSION PER DAY IS AUTOMATICALLY NULL AND VOID SO PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY ABOUT YOUR SUBMISSIONS.
-- This is a Haiku contest, so obviously, your submissions should be Haikus. What sets this Haiku contest apart is that your Haiku entries must be about this awesome forum in some positive way. You can write about the community as a whole, its members, the forum as a place for education, a great deal you got, a friend you made, whatever, as long as it has to do with the forum in a positive way. A Haiku is a short poem that does not have to rhyme. The Haiku is formed by one line of 5 syllables, then a line of 7 syllables, then a final line of 5 syllables. Here are two examples.

Please follow this pattern or entries will be null and void.
CHOOSING A WINNER
This is the part of the contest that I really like. The winner of this contest will be chosen by the members of this community. By using the little "Like" button under each person's post, you will be voting for the winner. Don't just rush to write your entry, read others' entries and vote with your likes. Simply enough, the entry with the most likes wins. In the case of a tie, the winner will still be chosen by the members. The tied winners' Haikus will be reposted and voted on again to choose the winner.
Good luck to every single one of you. I can not wait to read all of these!
