Not a truly happy camper, Dusty had surgery today to remove a tumor on his tail.
He is doing OK, but the collar must remain for 10 days, and he can barely get through the thin doorways.
I'm doing a lot of helping him get around, and will do so for until my buddy can have the stiches removed.

I have had cats (usually 2 or more) for over 40 years and I just witnessed a cat of mine dreaming for the first time a few days ago. It’s a nightly occurrence with my dogs.

Yesterday's hike with Rocky at Echo Lake in Hopkinton, MA (start of the Boston Marathon). It's the headwater to the west branch of the Charles River, owned by Milford Water Co. and is somewhat ambiguously posted with no fishing and trespassing signs but no one seems to care much... it's our third time to this particular body of water, second time to the dam... The trail ran out so we turned around:
