Who owns the Milaana 2 and Nomad both? What would you say the most noticeable differences are? Flavor similar?
I've never tried a Milaana 2, but I have two, fairly different Milaana 1.
An OG M (hot, quick, can be harsh if you aren't reasonably attentive, but great clouds).
And a later Spalted with a 'turbulator' (cooler by far, slightly better flavour than the OG, tamer).
So far (I'm only about 20 bowls in) my new Nomad has been providing a better experience than either Milaana.
Please note that I'm a BIG fan of RBT's Milaana, and that, so far, I've only tried the medium Nomad heater (Dan very kindly supplied an experimental medium heater with my unit, along with the other two I ordered).
I've also only only tried the supplied glass stem, with Dan's recommended screen setup (two screens sandwiching his wooden tube 'capsule').
So far, after a couple of scorching events right off the bat, the Nomad has been serving up some AMAZING flavour, with relative ease.
I really do think the Nomad is going to supplant the Milaana as my favourite for flavour.
It's very early days yet, but I'm seriously impressed with the function of Dan's vape so far.
Differences to RBT's vapes so far are that the Nomad has less heater 'lag' than the Milaana, so it heats up a little faster, and cools down faster too.
Being able to choose heater is also different (I've only done one bowl each with the Low, and High heaters, so can't comment on those yet, I've been too busy enjoying the experimental Medium coil).
I also feel able to pull a little faster on the Nomad with less risk of hot-spotting.
ABV is also a little different in the Nomad.
I tend to wnd up with lighter ABV than in the Milaana, but just as spent with full extraction.
EDIT:
Oh yeah, battery life seems to be considerably better on the Nomad, perhaps partly due to the body not heating up the way my Milaanas do.
Not that the Milaana's are bad, but there seems to be very little 'waste' heat generated by the Nomad, and it does seem to help.
