A couple of developments regarding the "shoplifting/strong-arm robbery".

Attorney For Ferguson Market:
NO ONE From His Store Called 911 To Report Cigar Theft

Ferguson_Market_ATTY_says_Owner_NOT_called_911.JPG

St. Louis local news is reporting that the Attorney for the Ferguson store, Jake Kanzler said the the Ferguson store owner, nor any store employee called the police to report any shoplifting of cigars, but, rather, a customer called the police. (more)

Michael Brown, Ferguson Victim Paid For His Rellos

Isn't it kind of irrelevant as to who called 911?

Aside from that, If I'm going to steal something its going to be the $10 blunts and not the 99¢ Rollos. Especially if its distracting the clerk from the fact that I'm stealing $10 worth of blunts

edit: Besides... Rollos melt in your pocket mang. It's summer time!

No, they are both doing it wrong. China's doing it right with the knives (among other bladed weapons)!

Don't know if I have a point, just thought it was rather similar and a glimpse of a different potential outcome given similar factors.

You absolutely have a point, and if the crazy fucking lady in the van turned around and tried to mow down the cops then I'm defiantly for them using lethal force because their lives would be in immediate danger. However, as we all know, that didn't happen.

Of course, and I've never once defended the shots being fired. My point was that, given the potential consequences at stake here, is it really out of line for the police to shout at the woman and bust out a window with their nightstick?

God damn that lady in the video is crazy fucking stupid. That cop is a saint for the amount of patience he showed.

But really, why did any of the officer's feel the need to shoot the car? Did the initial officer not already have the woman's information including the car's license plate number? Could they not have tracked her down later, like maybe at her house perhaps? Isn't that the point of registering cars and having license plates and drivers licenses and all that?
Because too many times the cops feel they can be all three things at the time (accuser, judge, and executioner).
Whatever happened to "let justice take its course"?

bwaaahahaha fuckin spin city. political bullshit. these cops i tell ya... peaches the whole lot!

Isn't it kind of irrelevant as to who called 911?

sure is. what is important here though is that the cops put a spin on it to make it something worse than it was. so that that MB would look like a thug and scare all the white people so they can easily justify his wrongful death.

again my opinion based on the evidence thus far and my experience with these cops.

I'm looking at the autopsy sketch and I made a find, and it made me believe he had his arms up.
Unless some expert explain to me the bullet wounds the way the appear on the sketch, in a more convincing way, then I'm sticking with my theory.
This is what I found out:
If I raise my arms, I can see the underside of it in front of a mirror, if I lower them, then I see the back of my hand palm and my arms ( you know, the hairiest part) The only way those bullets could have hit his arms the way it shows in the autopsy is if he had his arms raised, or he had them down in a very awkward and unorthodox way ( like the picture shows him with the arms down) walking towards the officer like some claim. Or he was hit from behind.
I admit I need more info, like the enter and exit wounds.
I hope I make sense.
I admit this is a naive observation, but sometimes that's all you need to know, rather than having an expert giving you all kind of mumbo jumbo.

More interesting news about Ferguson cops . . .

Michael Daly at The Daily Beast has the flabbergasting story of Henry Davis, who was picked up by cops “for an outstanding warrant that proved to actually be for another man of the same surname, but a different middle name and Social Security number,” then beaten by several officers at the station. What happened next was truly surreal: while denying that Davis had been seriously hurt at all, though a CAT scan found he had suffered a concussion and a contemporaneous photo shows him bleeding heavily, four police officers sought to have him charged for property damage for getting blood on their uniforms. The story emerged in part through contradictions in sworn testimony. Moreover, it developed that the department did not have a practice of placing incident reports of this sort in the officers’ personnel files, making it impossible to know how often individual officers had been involved in allegations of excessive force.

The Day Ferguson Cops Were Caught in a Bloody Lie
The officers got the wrong man, but charged him anyway—with getting his blood on their uniforms. How the Ferguson PD ran the town where Michael Brown was gunned down.

The kicker: the police department was that of Ferguson, Missouri.

I'm not a violent person & I don't know Henry Davis...but reading that makes my blood boil.

Can't imagine how I'd feel if that happened to me or someone I knew.

@t-dub John Oliver spoke about that on his HBO show. Also, the militarization of police. Pretty interesting piece. I think it was posted somewhere in the thread. Not sure if it was the full segment though.

The black teen killed by a white cop in Ferguson, Mo., viciously attacked the officer as he sat in his patrol car, delivering a bone-crunching punch that shattered the cop’s eye socket, a report claimed Tuesday.

Officer Darren Wilson suffered an “orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket,” Gateway Pundit reported, citing sources in the St. Louis County Police Department and the DA’s office.

I believe that the last story I posted is rather relevant. The autopsy suggests he was leaning down or not facing the officer when the kill shots were fired. If that's not relevant then my apologies.

i watched a video yesterday of the officer in question explaining to his backup what happened. he wasnt bleeding. or seeking medical attention. he was walking around like normal aside from clearly feeling some pressure. they had a body language specialist examine and they explained that the cols actions in the video indeed looked like he was nervous and covering something up. they said the way he was using his hands while he spoke says that he was trying to get the other officer to believe what he was saying. and that the way his shoulders were positioned that he was extremely nervous. not i realize that this isnt solid proof in any way, but it does make you wonder.

again, if his eyesocket was cracked from the incident wouldnt he have seeked medical attention soon after? he was there for over 4 hours. the police STILL have not released any details of what they say happened. this is a red flag to me. "viciously attacked"? is that anything like the "strong arm robbery" that never happened? just sayin...

No offense but that exact same autopsy report has been posted numerous times in the last few days... however I did miss it in your post, since that was the only one not notated. It was just a URL stuck in there at the end.

Regardless, if you scroll up you will see at least 4 URL links provided by 3 different members, none of which deal directly with the MB case.

Hope that clears things up.

You do know that The Gateway Pundit is an extreme right wing organization right? They are frequently quoted by Rush and Sean Hannity and those sorts. I'm not saying that the reporting is false, but it's certainly not an organization one would consider fair and balanced in their reporting. He'll, they might even see Rush as a liberal LOL. Just saying.

It's fair to bring up that point, however looking at some of the sources used by others in their posts, I'd say part for the course just in a different direction.

Of course, you won't see me attacking said sources regardless of political leaning (the Daily Kos, et al). I just want to read up on the different reports.

Assuming this report is true, do you not think it's rather important information?

Edit: BTW I despise Rush but I'm not going to discredit a source because he happens to cite them once in a while. I'd need a more direct rationale.

Regardless, one doesn't need to be fair and balanced in this report. The only piece of information that doesn't need any extra spin or copy editing is the medical report for the fracture. The rest of the text could be race baiting propaganda for all that matters.

Again, assuming this is true, the information will be public knowledge soon enough.

Fair enough, I just wanted to mention it as a lot of people aren't familiar with the Gateway Pundit. Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate your effort to add balance to the discussion considering most on this thread (including myself) have liberal leanings. I usually head straight to The Huffington post, Mother Jones and MSMBC. I think it's just human nature to gravitate to news sources that are more inline with ones political ideology. Personally, I can't watch FOX for more than two minutes without throwing rocks at my flat screen...HAha..

That said, I think we can all agree that finding out exactly what happened during this tragic event is the main goal here.

Here is a different perspective of looking at what's happened. He is correct about the paid protesters being bussed in from out of state. If you click this link there is a whole lot of WTF, but some of the stuff really makes you think. People are claiming gov conspiracy, psy ops, false flags, etc.

It won't let me post a link or video. Wtf.

Yeah that link doesn't work for me. What site is it hosted on?

@2clicker my brother broke his arm in 3 places when we were playing as kids. Required surgery and a titanium pin being put in his arm. Honest to god, after he fell, we both stared at his severely broken arm then discussed what we were going to tell our parents... all before the endorphins and adrenaline wore off and he started screaming in pain.

Must have been a good 20 minutes that passed between the break and the majority of the pain.

He was 8 years old at the time, and he never bled.

The new york post isn't much better.

Here is a balanced viewpoint, by the former police chief of seattle that has been on both sides of the fence; the fact that it had to be published by the guardian says a lot about the current state of our msm:

"It’s difficult to view citizens as partners when you’re looking at them through a Kevlar helmet and a riot shield – or when you have failed to build a culture of trust and then you add military equipment and tactics to a combustible mix of racial discrimination and little police accountability. This explosive combination makes policing significantly less effective, and dramatically less safe for everybody.

It’s no wonder so many cops – like some of those in Ferguson, Missouri – view their own community as the enemy when they spend their time geared for combat. It’s no wonder why they, in return, are viewed as an occupying force.

I was the city police chief during 1999’s so-called “Battle in Seattle,” the clash between anti-globalization protesters and my police officers. I realize now that the way we looked – and the way we behaved – provoked and exacerbated the violence. My decision to authorize the use of so-called “hard gear” (black uniforms with ballistic helmets and face shields, and the use of chemical agents) in our interactions with nonviolent, nonthreatening World Trade Organization demonstrators heightened tensions and put everyone – cops and citizens – at greater risk. The militarization of the WTO protests did untold damage to our efforts to build a positive, trusting partnership with our community."

http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/aug/19/ferguson-police-force-punish-cops

I believe that this situation is the result of at least a generation of institutionalized violence, suppression and oppression against black residents by a white occupying (non-resident) police force that has been fully militarized by the defense department, just to keep the mic dollars flowing and their deadly technology on the "cutting edge". And now they are even attacking journalists with rubber bullets and tear gas if they dare to stray out of the "free speech zone", just so they can grab their cameras and other devices that may have recorded inconvenient truths. Free speech is supposed to be a sacred right, not a secured area.

I understand that these kids should not have been walking in the middle of the street. If they had been on the sidewalk mb would still be alive today. But he was unarmed and shot six times, by a cop that panicked and threw any sense of professionalism out the window even is only for a moment.

The current dynamic in ferguson reminds me of isreal vs. gaza, just without the missiles.

Here's a great take by the senior paul (the one who actually makes sense):

And here's the whole john oliver rant:

@grokit I believe we have had this same conversation but in the reverse. More than once. I mean, how many times have you quoted NaturalNews and it's affiliated blogs in various other posts?

Just wanted to point that out.

Regardless, I'm not defending the source. I'm simply saying that if true, this is game changing information. Thankfully though, this will be much easier to prove than say, how fluoridated water causes ADHD or what have you.
