The Lotus Vaporizer

Sorry. More noob questions.
  1. Any thoughts on the Infinity Jars? (Yes, the email with the loyalty discount works on me, as the Gentleman pipe is already in my cart - even though I can't yet master the basics.) My guess is that plane glass jars are fine, but I do like the wood/look/aesthetics.
  2. Any material difference in the Honest Jet Lighter vs. the "High Quality" (sold out) one sold by Inhale? See below.
I'm trying not to blame my tools, but I'm second-guessing my decision to buy the Dissim Inverted Dual Torch. I've found out that the lowest flame setting doesn't work at all, and even the lower settings don't work well for inverted use (wut wut?) - and that at least one person had pointed this out elsewhere online. So trying to get a blue flame the desired/recommended length isn't going to work, and I certainly can't hold this torch as close to the Lotus as shown in the "how to use" video. And to nitpick further, the hole for your finger is smaller than I'd like, and the dial for changing the flame length is pretty tough to move.

At least I got it for 1/2 the MSRP. I can find some use for it.
The regular Honest torch will be fine. An Eagle would be great as well.

All I use are miron glass jar (aka infinity jar), with their standard Bakelite lid and 62% integra packs.

These new walnut lids with built in hygrometer are really sexy but I'd probably add a rubber ring inside the lid to make a better seal.

Damn, im kinda bummed that I am already loaded with Miron jars...

Yeah I also am pretty happy with my current jars, but I am tempted. Also I'm glad they added that pipe.

It's nice to see Now Inhale trying stuff. I think the new cases for the lotus and the vapman are bad, but these seem great.

I'm curious if the new pipe and lids are made in house or outsourced.

Their CNC can make the lids and the body of the pipe. I think the vapor path of the pipe has to be drilled with a pillar drill and a custom positioning tool (they certainly have both).

And the walnut wood they use could be of the same source than the European walnut vapcase, at least the finish is the same and the grain appear very similar.
So my guess is that they're made in house.

Not the hygrometers nor the pipe stem though...

I prefer the "high quality" lighter listed on the inhale site, but not for performance reasons at all. It just feels nicer in my hand & is easier for me to refill as a result. I do not believe they are currently available anywhere though. (if anyone knows otherwise, please share who has them, I would love to buy a few spares).

the honest lighter that is in current kits (and also sold rebranded with dynavap kits) is my second choice for the lotus, and is a really great option to have. almost a "reference" or "standard" to which everything else can be compared and you should get at least one to have on hand.

I have like 50 of them...over the years they came with the Vapman...they came 'with'...no longer the luxury...I think they work fabulously...as far as the jars...even though I have the right storage for my herb...the INHALE ones look nice. I am going to get them and the pipe. Why not? The accessories look good to me. Cheerrs!

That's the spirit! You convinced me, and maybe I will get a couple. With a discount, it's like I have to get some.

I sure would love if those cork cases were still available. Very nice and really match the aesthetic.

(As a relative newcomer I don't think the new cases are bad only relatively bad! lol)
Yeah I prefer the old lotus zip bag, but I would not toss a glass hook into it. So the new case has some value. For the vapman the new case is basically not fit for purpose, compared to the egg.

I like the egg but I've been told it looks weird and I'm to keep it out of sight.
Nobody would complain about cork though. The little pencil case thing is cool too.
