Good suggestion. I'm not in a hurry. And I figured out which discount code works for the lotus for 10%. At the moment Inhale beats Vgoodiez by about $20. Not huge, but a difference.

I recognize and/or can match the description to the picture for most of these, but I am smitten by the leftmost on the upper row. it appears very dark and has strong purple tones in the wood (on my screen), almost like a black on amaranth or black on purple heart. what is THAT one?

I have an Olive with Gold cap that is not the peace edition. It's gorgeous.

Got the 420 special (with the padouk vm click) so it was soon before the peace edition was announced.

Whatever you do, please DO NOT post a picture of a similar set of shelves with amazing torches... especially if any have wood accents that are walnut, maple or zebrano ... I was *just* looking at the Dissim Inverted Torch (because someone posted a picture of one that I saw) and thinking that it would be really cool if it had a wood exterior.

That's awesome, and most appreciated. At first blush it looks like a soft flame. I'm under the assumption that a jet is required for my one's Lotus.

Personally, I do not feel a difference. I do with the Vapman. Ebony is my choice...it is an OG Ebony made by Rene...but, my Lotus collection does not show evidence of it significantly.

I was recently looking for a replacement for my venerable Vertigo Serpent (an angled black table torch) when it started to fail a month or two ago—I wanted to match a black-and-cherry wood … fetish, I guess? … that I have with my collection, and searched a bit for models that would match. (I also looked a little more broadly for leather and brass that could work in a pinch.)

For what it’s worth, here’s a snapshot of the iPad photo album where I kept track of what I found. I don’t have links or other identifying data on all of these torches, but could probably hunt down a few if someone wants that info. (I wound up with the thin Honest Promise model shown in the second and third pictures; it’s actually a metal body, as I imagine most of these are, but looks nice enough; very thin and sleek, but a bit light on fuel capacity.)

No need. I am sure I will be using Google Image Search on any that look good to me, and I will enjoy it! Hell, I’m also looking for wood desktop items that complete “the look” in my mind, ideally that also smell good (with the added benefit of covering up stinky gear).
