Dr G, it's a Roor Inside Standard. I can't find one listed, in fact it looks like they are not making much stock these days? I don't think the US store ever carried these, only the German store and a couple European headshops.
I love the Roor glass...its well made. I am using the Heir brand...I love it. Easy to clean. Thanks for sharing the info.

I'm a little annoyed @Dr. G
(I'm joking, of course!)

I thought that by posting my sublime pipe made by Aezhenn almost every week, you would have finally noticed 😁

It's definitely the best wooden pipe related to the Lotus! 😅

That said, I know that @coolbreeze has a Cdxx pipe that's worth a look...
in a different style...
Nothing like your awesome Eclipse pipe, but here the CDXX one:

I also have this wood-and-glass j-hook by Kalu:

Now Let's see the Eclipse!

I love all the wooden pieces featured on this page!!!!

Thanks so much for the intro @coolbreeze !
I had prepared a slightly different photo for once, haha!
It's the only piece of glass with water in it I own. I used it when I was sick (which I am).
But I haven't used it in a long time!
That won't be for today either, by the way.

And Aezhenn's "eclipse" pipe sits here, in Its natural element ... my open museum!
For me, this pipe simply makes the Lotus experience perfect. I don't think I'd ever want another one. Considering it's a custom piece and the quality of the craftsmanship... the price was incredibly reasonable.
I feel lucky to own it.

Happy Lotus Friday everyone!!
✌️💚

What's this glass piece called, if you don't mind sharing? I love the size of it and it looks perfect for the Lotus!

Sorry buddy,
I bought it five-six years ago.
It was on eBay...
Your best bet is Google Lens, I think.

I'm going to keep it "just in case," but if you're still thinking about it in a few months, let me know and I can sell it to you for a few coins if you're still really interested.

No worries. I'll do some digging and see what I can find. Really cool piece!

  • What is the best wooden pipe to attach the Lotus? Anyone have something spectacular to show us?

Synchronicity moves me to mention/link the Sherlock pipe build posted by Reddit/r/vaporents user /u/gotsniff about a year ago, with a nice list of parts:
(Sorry, Reddit makes it too difficult to post a link to the Lotus image itself.)

/u/gotsniff originally posted with pics of a Lotus attached, so especially relevant here, but the build uses a 14mm glass adapter, so very flexible for attaching other vapes (and likely other adapters possible for many more; theirs was a VGoodiez 18/14mm adapter). Since the original post, they have posted several pics of other vapes attached, always to queries about the Sherlock build. I am eager to try the build myself (just haven’t gotten to it), using either the more traditional black-and-cherry Muxiang pipe they used from Amazon, or perhaps a more medieval/fantasy pipe I spotted (there are many others available that might work). I did a little prep-legwork to find the specific place on Amazon to get the particular O-rings they used, and can recover and post that info here if people are interested.

My research indicated that the full build could be done with the traditional Muxiang pipe for around $50-60, although that was before tariffs.

/u/gotsniff’s original Muxiang pipe (pre-build), from Amazon (approx. $25 then):

A more fantasy-styled option I found on Amazon that I liked (can’t guarantee the fit and angle issues, or that the O-ring sizes would be the same as /u/gotsniff’s build; and more like $35 then):

Happy Lotus Friday, all!

I have always wanted one of those pipes (especially the one where the downstem is removable)

I have two micro (dab rig) versions but alas Roor has closed their doors..
What a bummer! I wonder how come?
Changing market, etc. Dang.

coolbreeze,
Good morning! I'm new to FC but I've already gone a bit deep with some of my new devices. I've also got early indications that I've caught the Lotus bug. Apart from reading all 404 pages of this thread, any advice for a new convert? Like "don't buy today, there's a new wood option just around the corner!" etc.? I've come dangerously close to pulling the trigger (early again, like with some other recent purchases), including having carts full at both INHALE and Vgoodiez....

Thanks in advance!

There are pretty nice wood options available now. Which do you have in your cart? I wouldn't sweat it too much, if you're like us you'll be back for more anyhow! ; ) Pull that trigger and congrats!

Tips: make sure you keep your circles tight so that you expose the underlying wood to as little heat as possible; slow your draw if you're not getting much; try it on a waterpiece; take it for a hike:

Lots of indecision that I'm trying to tell myself is being contemplative instead of impulsive.

At INHALE I had the Walnut, then the Peace in my cart (primarily due to the $20 savings, and recent events....) I like the look of the former, as well as the Zebrano and Maple. (So I basically like 3 of the 4.... that's not helpful). Then I got an email from INHALE for a 10% discount, but never received my promised 15% code for sharing my email address. So that sidetracked me and led me to VgoodieZ (where I got my TM2), then I tried the FC10 discount code but it doesn't work. And that's when I decided to step away from the computer and credit card....

Good point on the wood options, as I confess that I won't stop at one. But that Amaranth looked so cool. And when I found out about a prior Halloween drop, I thought it would be ideal to ask FC before I jump.

I think the Halloween one was the maple with orange ring (it's UV reactive). I'm not sure if or when to expect a new wood, tbh, especially since the Peace one is recent. I think I'd go for the Zebrano, just because it's really striking and unlikely to be around forever. The Walnut/black is kind of a classic, though, to me, so that's another I'd go with. I would ask Vgoodiez if he can apply the discount.

Would possibly wait a week, vgoodiez usually has holiday sales and 4th of July and 7/10 are just around the corner. If you can’t wait, try looking in the discounted collections, he usually has a 5, 10 and 20 collection at any given time and you just add the collection name(s) as coupon codes at checkout (lotus and vapman are usually in the 10% off collection)
