Yep, saying "quite ok" is probably an error from me, considering what lotus produce and the overall experience it gives! Don't get me wrong, I used LB and FV (still own them) and I'm just taking the Lotus much more often, at home and on the road!
I used the expression: "quite ok", probably too fast and in lack of other expression.. I totally agree with "great deal" ! When I'm using the "quite ok" expression, in french ( "pas mal" ?), it sounds in fact like pretty good, IMO. IDK how does it sound in English, cause words "quite" and "ok" have pretty positive meaning for me. Also I was reacting to the fact it would be @
Croupier first vaporizer. I think the people (I'm not saying novice or experienced are right or wrong) when they look at the Lotus, are just thinking it is over priced for the material they get... Like LB, in a way..
People could think : for the same price you can get a unit which "weight" much more or is more stealthy, look solid or more hi tech/fashion ( i'm lookin in subconscious), with electronics and buttons and more "control", .. But at the end, it doesn't mean you can't get a great (or better: divine?) experience, with control over your vaporization and pleasure in operating it with great success and all of this with a simple-beautiful-looking, flame based vape.
It is such kind of vape that IMO, some persons won't even look at it after they have tried some other. But in the other way it can really suit a novice need as a convinced vaporist as well.
I'm sharing it with friends like no other vape. I generally operate with the lighter and let them hold the pipe and tell them letting me know when to stop, for sure after a few seconds i'm stopping them if they are too gluttonous. It is great to show combusters what amazing result they can get in a few seconds, just sucking on that "kind of pipe".
Vorrange is right : it is one of a kind ! A must have in my honest and modest opinion
